I deeply apologize for not having updated any of my stories in a reasonable time.  But, I've missed wattpad very much.

First, it was internet connections.  Then, I met my soulmate.  Then, I moved in with my soulmate.  Then, I started at a new hospital.  (I hated it.)  Then, I quit, and found a lovely new job.

Yeah, life has been weird and awesome for this past year.

And now, I'm back.  Hopefully, you'll still enjoy my writing, and help me improve my skills.  More chapters for Mad Love and With Eyes Like the Moon coming your way if you want.  Lemme know.

"So you're dating now, right?"

"Um.  I think so?" I said, scrunching up my nose.

"What do you mean, that you're not sure?" Georgia, my cousin, asked.  She chunked a throw pillow at me.

We were sitting in one of the many living rooms at the Holton's summer house.  Bright, cheerful sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, highlighting the hardwood floors.  We sat on opposite ends of the cream colored couch, facing one another.

"I mean, there was no official declaration.  Asher hasn't told me anything."

"It's been three days.  You hold hands, and this time, it's not just you following him.  He chases you around, too, now.  You've got to be dating," Georgia said, rolling her eyes.  She tossed her long black hair over a tan shoulder.

I shrugged.  I wasn't sure just what we had.  Honestly, I was too afraid to question it.  If I put too much pressure on Asher, would he back off?  I didn't want that.  It had been a full three days since our escape from dinner, and for me, it had been heaven.

Asher still picked on me, but in a more gentle, teasing manner.  Something between us had changed, and he hadn't hidden it from the packs.  Nobody was able to label what we were now, least of all me.

"Do you think he'll mark you for intent at the shift?" She asked, leaning towards me, her big brown eyes gleaming.  Georgia is several years older than me at twenty-two, but she's the closest I have to a big sister.  She's been single for years, and is starved for any kind of romance.

A mark of intent is as good as an engagement in the pack.  It is only accepted at shift.  Basically, a male stays by the side of his chosen female throughout the hunt.  A female accepts by staying close to the male, allowing him to protect her.  If any other males approach or come near her, he snaps at them.  It's a physical demonstration of his protectiveness.  A public claim on her.

I wet my lips, swallowing nervously.  "It's kind of soon to tell, isn't it?"

She slapped my knee.  "Bullcrap.  It's not too soon, what's too soon about it?" She ranted.  "You've known each other since you were old enough to walk.  He's your brother's best friend, and you've spent nearly every Summer of your life with him."

"Maybe I just don't want to get my hopes up," I snapped, my eyes going to hers.  Georgia softened a little.  "I've spent years drooling over him.  I don't want to push it now that my feelings are finally returned."
