Oh my God this chicken is good!
We sat around a huge, mahogany table, munching on all the delicasies of Mzalavon, i wasn't exactly sure what i was eating but it looked like chicken, it tasted like chicken, so im going to presume that its chicken. It sat on a pure, white plate with a long line of crockery set out on either side. I was cautious as to which one i picked up as i was being eyed carefully by the other people around the table, i needed to look like i knew what was i doing. So with that i picked up a spoon. People started looking away, staring back down at their own plates. What? At home i eat chicken with a spoon, it's quite easy once you get the hang of it.
The people were dressed in high-class clothing, from elegant dresses which lingered on the floor delicately, to suits that would even look good on a fish. Being honest, i was overwelmed; i'd never been in a room with such importantness before, i was used to: casual, weird, random. Not, smart snobby and posh. One by one, they turned up their noses as i fumbled with the weirdly shaped spoons, knifes and forks.
This is too much for a person with a small brain.
Across from me sat Damien, who had been quiet since we entered the room of high authority. The room was decorated in rich golds and bold reds that worked in perfect harmony together to give an image of royalty. He was silently picking at his food, his eyes never leaving the plate.
At the far end of the table, was the women that met us at the gates, the women that i presumed was the Queen, my assumptions becoming more accurate by the minute. Around her stood several guards who were constantly looking at me. I think after the ordeal outside they were right to. I express my opinions freely and that gets me respect.
One point to me i think, mwahahahahaha.
This silence was un-bearable now, you could've heard a pin drop. Quite a large pin for that matter as i don't really like pins. I'm clumsy so i tend to end up stabbing myself whenever i hold or sue them. Yep i'm that skilled.
At that moment, i had a craving, like a preganant women does. Not that i have been pregnant or that i am. Well i hope i'm not, who would the daddy be? I know....
It's the Milky Bar Kid.
"Has anyone got any Ketchup?" i whispered across the table.
Immediately, eyes snapped my way, looking at me as if i was insane or something.
Me? Insane? Pfft, never would've thought.
After what seemed like an eternity of staring, everyones eyes returned to their meals. That was when i realised something.
It was about ten o clock at night....and we were eating chicken. Well, looks like i'm not the only mad person here afterall. Still i'm not complaining, this chicken is mother duckingly awesome.
A delicate hand tapped my shoulder, i turned my head to see a women who looked about the same age as the Queen. She had golden blonde hair, tyed up into a bun with a beautiful butterfly pin. The colour of the butterfly matched perfectly with her gray-blue eyes, that looked so dainty and pretty. She leaned into my ear,
"I am extremely sorry to bother you miss, but what is Ketchup?" she whispered, saying the word ketchp slowly, making sure she pronounced every syllable correctly. Her voice was light and faint, almost like she was scared to talk. Quickly, she pulled back hoping that no one had seen her, her eyes darted around the table before turning to me and giving a small smile. My mouth almost dropped to the floor.
"Bro," i said at a normal tone of voice making everyone immediately look at me, "You haven't tried Ketchup?!" she slowly shook her head, trying not to draw any attention. Too late for that now.
That was when i remembered something. Damn im blonde! My hand dived into my pocket, pulling out a small red sachet with the holy words written on it. "Ketchup".
"Trust me, dip your chicken in this."
