Kennedy's POV
Blake pushed me behind him. I heard him growl a low menacing growl that would make anyone fear for their life. It looked like he was ready to lunge at my mother.
I wrapped my arms around his waist. He tensed beneath my hold and soon relaxed. I moved from behind him and stood by his side. Blake looked at me well more like the bruise that was starting to show on cheek. He looked from there to my eyes. I couldn't help but look into his eyes also.
He had so many emotions going through his eyes, but he quickly his most of them.
"You slut, you get out of this house right now. Don't come back for anything. You disgraced this family, what about your father? How's he going to handle all of this? I hope your baby dies!" the woman who gave birth to me screamed at me. She is no longer my mother. She is dead to me.
She kept screaming things at me and I could tell Blake had enough. His face was red and he was breathing sharply. I had to put a stop to this before he blew up and unleashed his inner wolf.
"You know what Mary. Your not my mother anymore. I am glad I have this baby and Blake. You shut your mouth, you're the one who is a slut. Dad was always sick and you were always sleeping around with other men. If dad knew you'd be thrown out. You're the disgrace not me. I'm almost an adult. What I did and will do in the future is my business." I finally had enough courage to get in my mother's face and tell her how I felt, and it felt great.
With that I grabbed Blake's hand and pulled him up the stairs to my room. My room was opposite of Shane's, so whenever he had company over lets just say it would get annoying. I opened the door and walked into my room.
I sighed and fell back on the bed. Not a moment later I felt it move and familiar arms wrap around me.
"Your mother's a bitch" he said all serious. I couldn't help but bust out laughing.
I stopped when he didn't start laughing with me. I turned and looked at him.
"Kennedy when your mother hit you. I almost went and attacked her. I can't stand seeing or hearing you hurt all the time. When your in pain I'm in pain. I want to be there and be your guardian angel. To take away the pain and put it all on me." he caressed my red cheek and looked into my eyes.
I didn't realize I started crying until I felt his hand wipe all the evidence away. I pushed his hand further into my face and closed my eyes. Whenever he touches me I feel shocks and pulsing fire going through my body. I never want it to end.
I opened my eyes and looked at his lips. I started to lean in and he leaned in to mine. When our lips touched it was magic. He kissed me with so much passion and I kissed back with even more. I broke the kiss to breathe. When he kissed me he always left me breathless.
Blake smiled and kissed my head.
"I love you Kennedy" I stopped breathing. He said those three words that mean so much. Did I love Blake? He did lie to me about part of his life. But then again he did so much for me. I'm truly happy with him and wouldn't see myself with anyone else.
"I love you too" I said and he smiled.
With that we kissed yet again. This time we both knew we loved each other.

After our little kiss we got my stuff packed and I showered and got ready to go to school.
