"Get back out here! They don't want you there you slimy little leach!" My mother screamed from outside the Thomas' house. I held back my tears not wanting to seem like too much of a girl on my first day living with these boys'. I could hear the scrambling of feet on the pebbled path that led from the road to the front door of the mansion, obviously someone was taking her away.

"Come on Renae, i'll show you to your room. It's bit small, I mean I would have given you my room but I run my business from there, my brothers are just mean." Xavier said as he took my bags from me, I felt so vulnerable in this house, I was totally out of my comfort zone! The mask I had built for myself in school had shattered as soon as Felicity left me at the door. I followed Xavier up the stairs and admired the photos on the wall along the staircase, they were all of Mrs Thomas, it was like a timeline of her life. Normally stuff like this would be creepy but these pictures told her story, I felt like I knew more about Mrs Thomas than I did my own mother, biological or adopted.

"What kind of business do you have?" I asked curiously as I tried to keep up with Xavier who stood at about 6'3 and was a few metres ahead of me.

"You're joking right?" He asked laughing but stopped dead in his tracks when he realised that I actually didn't have a clue. "Wow, they weren't lying when they said she locked you away from the outside world!" I pouted at him but he just stuck his tongue out at me, mature Xavier, very mature. 

"Honey, I own MTV." He replied, I laughed not taking him seriously until I saw the look in his eyes that said he wasn't about to start laughing at how gullible I was.

"What are you actually being serious?" I squealed

"No, of course i'm not being serious. Did you seriously think I could run the whole of MTV from my bedroom? Princess you're going to be more fun than I thought." He laughed, damn it. He took the bags I was carrying off of me and opened a door revealing a massive room that was painted sunshine yellow with a frost white carpet. There was a giant four poster bed at the far end of the room with tall thin windows, but not so thin that I you didn't get a great view of the town, on either side of the yellow bed. 

"This is huge!" I shouted and jumped at Xavier who pulled me into a hug, I was shocked for a moment but then I hugged him back.

"You deserve this Princess, if we'd known what she was doing to you up in those woods I'd have come and got you myself!" He whispered, I felt a blush spread over my face.

"We've wanted a sister forever!" I heard a voice shout as a herd of boys came running up the stairs.

"Ok Renae, these are the boys that are going to annoy you for the rest of your life. Introduce yourselves then?" Xavier said as he release me from the hug.

I turned to face the six other boys, they all looked like their dad apart from Xavier who was startling identical to their mother. The other boys all had Mr Thomas' dark hair with blonde flecks that were reflected in their green eyes, Xavier on the other hand had honey blond hair with grey eyes. They were all well built, well apart form Harry and the twins because they were too young to work out, obviously.

"Harry!" Little Harry said grinning, showing off his missing front teeth, I giggled at his cuteness which earned me an eyeroll from Xavier.

"We've got a giggler!" Xavier mocked so I punched him playfully in the arm, secretly I just wanted to know how muscley his arms were and lets just say they're pretty impressive.

"I'm Drew, this is Ethan. We're twins not identical though so don't ask us to do or say things at the same time." Drew said in a monotone voice 

"Please, I have more important things to do than watch you two monkey around all day. I bet you're not even funny." I replied.

"Whatever." Drew said as he pulled Ethan away from the door, Ethan sent me an apologetic smile so I smiled back, its not his fault his brother is being an idiot.

"I'm Kai and as you can probably tell I'm the hot one in this family." Kai said as he winked at me.

"Babe, I'm almost 17 and I'm not a paedophile." I replied so Kai flipped me off.

"Wow, you resisted the charm of the almighty Kai-ster. I'm Casper by the way. My mum's idea of a joke to name me after that little ghost." He grinned at me flashing of his set of immaculate teeth that all of the boys' had.
