I looked over at my phone when it starting ringing for the twentieth time. Ugh! Big shocker. Evan had been calling non-stop since our little fight an hour ago. Didn't this boy have any pride? He had the nerve to call me and ask me a hundred questions about who I was with and what I've been doing. Where I was at this time and that time. Fuck kissing him through the phone. I'd slap him through the phone. He must've thought that I was stupid and that I wouldn't hear what he had been up to. Wrong! Julie called me less than two hours ago to ask me to meet her at the mall and to tell me that Evan had been spending a lot of time with Alli. You didn't see me whining like a baby and blowing his phone up.
"What! Get a life and leave.. me... alone." I screamed into the phone.
There was a pause before his whiny voice came through the phone. "I have a right to know what you have been doing. I'm your boyfriend." He said.
"You don't need to know what I am doing every second of every day. If I do something that will effect you, then I will tell you. I'm a grown fucking woman!" I argued.
"Oh! I get it. You've found another boyfriend. That's cool. At least be a woman and tell me." He whined.
I swear that he got dumber as time went on. "If I had a new boyfriend then I would tell you, because that would be something that effects you. Use your head. I won't tell you again." I scoffed into the phone.
"Good! That's good to hear. Well, I gotta go. I'll call you later and it would be nice if you answer it." He said.
I let out a deep breath to calm myself. "Yup! Goodbye." I said with a smile and then tossed my phone down on the bed.
Maybe I should've just called Alli myself and just asked her to take Evan off my hands. Sure.. I liked him but, that doesn't make it worth sticking around for. To tell you the truth, he had been a pain from the beginning. They say that women nagged. Well... Evans name should've been Evalene instead then. Oh well. Maybe things would change in the next five weeks. If not, then I would have to move on and leave him behind.
Now I needed to talk father into driving me to the mall. After what happened at dinner tonight, I was pretty positive that he wouldn't want to take the thirty five minute trip there. If he said no then maybe he would get the damn hint that I needed a car and quick. School was almost out and college would be starting soon after that. I would need a car to get around.
I walked back over to the main house and poked my head inside. My father looked up from the book that he was reading and pulled his glasses down. "What's up sweetie." He said while trying his best to not look at his book. That was one thing that I actually did get from my father. We both loved to read and my mother just found it a waste of time.
"I need a ride to the mall. Julie wants me to meet her there." I explained.
He gave me a nod and then went back to his book. "I can't Aria. Krista and I are meeting with our friends later for whine and a movie." He said. "I'm sure that Xander would be happy to drive you."
"Drive her where?" Xanders voice sounded from behind me.
I slowly turned around and grunted at him and then turned back around. "Never mind. I don't need to go that bad." I scoffed.
My father smiled at Xander as he pushed me out of the way and stepped inside. "She needs a ride to Pearl Mall." He said with a cheesy grin.
Xander looked at me and stretched his arm and then rested it on my shoulder. "Anything for my soon to be sister." He grunted and rolled his eyes. "I need to go get some new clothes anyways."
Ugh! I guess that I really had no other choice. I shot my father a look of disgust and then turned on my heels and took off towards the garage. "I'll be waiting in the garage. Hurry up!." I screeched.
About ten minutes later Xander walked into the garage with a fresh pair of dark jeans and a tight fitting gray shirt. I looked down at his feet and noticed the black biker boots again. "Oh no! I am not riding that thing to the mall. It's a thirty five minute trip." I complained.
He gave me a cocky grin and ran his hands through his messy hair. "I can get us there much faster on my bike." He said while looking down at his phone. "It's already 7:00 pm and the mall closes at 9:00 pm. Do you really want to waste time arguing?" He growled while reaching for his helmet.
This night just kept on getting worse. Was it really worth it to take a thirty five minute trip on the back of a motorcycle just to shop and see Julie for an hour? I did need some girl time and some new skirts. "Fine! You better be careful. I hate motorcycles." I said in a cold voice.
