Nightmare

Laying here in my bed
I try to ignore the voice
Coming up stairs

I'm alone in my room
And I'm scared

I close my eyes
And try not to cry

I know that shouldn't have
Got sent home from school

I know I'm in trouble
But who do I run to

He enters my room
Anger in his voice

He yells and scream
I shake and scream

He takes off his belt
And beats me

I try not to cry
Because it will only make it worse

He tells me it's what I deserve
And pushes my legs apart

I fight and kick
But I'm over powered

He leaves me in my room
I close my eyes

No more tears
My eyes are dry

I open the pill bottle on my nightstand
So I can finally end this nightmare
