When My Head's in the Clouds

Hey there! Sorry for doing this instead updating I Must Be Dreaming! Well this is faster and I'm only half done the next chapter of it! I meant to do more but I got sick last night and had to go to sleep really early so I could go to school today. :/ Anyway I hope you like this! I've been meaning to write this for a while!

When I was younger I would look at the clouds for hours, finding shapes in them! It was an amazing pass time let me tell you! I wouldn't just find shapes though, I would make up whole scenarios, that changed along with the clouds.

One second there's a dragon swooping in to save a princess who doesn't like the man trying to marry her.

Help me! This dumb prince only wants my money! He doesn't love me!* Woosh* and I'm in the air, Flying away from the prince on my very friendly drangon. Away from all my problems and worries.

Next it was a rider and her stallion galloping across the sky. I could almost imagine the freedom. The wind in my hair. Wanting to go even faster. To outrun time.To stay in that moment forever.

You name it, I saw it. It was so amazing to me, that there were so many things happening up in the sky! I would just lie there in the grass and watch what unfolded above me. It was always different and always wonderful. It was my escape. My chance to be free from everything holding me back and just float away with the clouds for a while. 

I didn't understand why other people didn't watch them like I did. Even now I wonder why doesn't anyone ever look up? Everyone is always looking down or straight ahead, when the sky is right above them putting on a show. Just waiting for someone to look up and join in. 

I think as you get older, you loose some of that sense of wonder and imagination. So every now and then I like to go outside and look at the clouds like I used to when I was younger...

I know this is really short but it's just meant as something to do on the side when I have writer's block and need to get my writing juices flowing! Or if I just get bored! :D
