You Wish

Willis, Arthur, and Lily, walked across an open field still marveling at the wondrous sights Ossian provided. The sun was again providing beautiful warmth across the small planet. Exotic flying animals flew through the skies and small workers attended to the fields. They climbed up a small hill and found themselves looking down at a large rock pool a small distance away from the bottom of their position.

            “Look how clear it is!” Willis said, pointing at the large rock pool that had a small rainforest surrounding it. There were also many crop fields of coffee and glorican growing all around the rock pool area.

            “Let’s go swimming,” Lily said, taking her top off, drawing Willis and Arthur’s attention to her body.

            “Wow,” Arthur said, staring at her breasts.

             “Creep,” Lily muttered as she ran down to the waters edge.

            Willis ran along side her for obvious reasons; he could not help it. They finally reached the bottom and were met with numerous wolf whistles that startled them. Garth and co-workers were on their break; they had been sitting around smoking, drinking soft drinks, reading space papers, but now they were staring at Lily in all her glory.

            “That’s the shit I’m talking about,” Garth slapped hands with the small creature next to him.

            Lily started to place her top back on embarrassed.

            “May as well hop in now,” Willis shrugged; he took his shirt off and threw it to the ground.

            “Yeah may as well,” Arthur said, doing the same and jumping into the rock pool.

            “Ah,” Lily said, still feeling awkward.

            “It was your idea,” Willis said, swimming around in the clear water.

            Garth and the workers stood up and began packing away their belongings as Lily swam behind Willis and hid herself from them. They moaned and groaned as they departed the area and headed back into the fields.

            Lily pushed Willis’s shoulders down sinking him under and swam away. Willis chased after her while Arthur treaded water holding on to his glasses and observing the different colored underwater plants below.

David walked behind Jeremiah and could see three people down below the hill swimming around in a rock pool; he knew it would be his friends and he tried everything he could to stall. Amor had quickly landed undetected and dropped them off a fields away from where he sensed the other humans to be.

            David gripped his gun tight, as they grew closer to the rock pool. He saw how much fun his friends were having and felt a slight resentment for the happiness they were showing. David wondered if they had managed to get their wishes and were celebrating; he watched as one by one Willis, Arthur, and Lily climbed out of the water and onto the bank.

            Lily picked her top up off the ground and slid it back on.

            “Damn she has a hot body,” Jeremiah said, as the quietly approached

            Willis quickly picked up a tree branch as he saw David and Jeremiah approaching. Lily stood behind him and Arthur stepped forward holding a branch also.

“So this is it?” Willis said shaking his head.

            “End of the line for you,” Jeremiah said, aiming his weapon at Willis.

Arthur used his free and to pull out a joint of glorican and quickly lit it; Jeremiah changed his aim on him after the sudden movement.
