Oh I'm gonna put it in the want ads,

Victoria groaned as she blindly searched for her cell phone, she found it under her pillow and shut-off the alarm. She checked the time which read 7:30, she had to get up to get ready for work but she didn't want to leave the comfort of Dante's arms that were wrapped around her so securely. She nestled up closer to him as her hand slipped under his t-shirt. Her fingers tracing lightly over the ridges of his six pack.

The lord works in wonderful and mysterious ways. She thought as she closed her eyes and drowned everything out except for Dante's breathing.

Victoria was about to fall asleep when her second alarm rang. She groaned out of frustration she was too comfortable to move.

"Do you plan on shutting that noise up anytime soon?" Dante mumbled.

"It's The Honey Cone not noise. You do it, I don't feel like moving."

Dante sighed as he reached behind her and grabbed her phone. He shut off her alarm before trying to sit up but Victoria held him down.

"Stop moving,"

"Don't you have to get ready for work?"

"Mmmhm" she mumbled

"So do I,"

"That's nice," she said looking up at him.

Dante kissed her forehead before popping her on the shoulder.

"Come on get up, we're still in our clothes from yesterday." He said as he rolled her off of him and sat up. Victoria pouted as she sat up, her hair covering her left eye.

"What do you want for breakfast little one?" He asked as he brushed the hair away from her face.

"Don't call me that especially since I'm older than you."

"By six months, give me a break, besides I'm the only one that acts their age in this relationship."

Victoria rolled her eyes as she stood up and stripped off her t-shirt.

"I'm taking a shower, care to join me?" She asked while giving him a sultry look.

"I'll pass; I'm going to go home for a bit, I'll be back with breakfast." He said as he slipped on his sneakers.

Dante smiled as Victoria walked away mumbling to herself about how he was no fun. Shaking his head, he stood up with a stretch, his mind went back to their argument, he hadn't meant for things to get so heated but in a way he was grateful because he could finally get a glimpse at what Victoria was thinking. Although they had come a long way and Victoria was opening up to him she still held a lot back from him, and it worried him.

After stopping home for a shower and change of clothes, Dante rushed over to his favorite diner and picked up breakfast. When he made it back to Victoria's house, Victoria was already dressed and applying makeup.

"That's enough," he said pulling the foundation brush from her hand.

"Give it back!"

"No, I told you not to wear this crap."

"I need it; this crap is the only thing keeping me from looking like a zombie. Look at these dark circles under my eyes."

"Get some proper rest they'll go away, you are way prettier without this spackle."
