I was created a long time ago, back in Greece, when the gods were still openly worshipped. My creator, Calliope, had a child, whom she loved dearly, Orpheus. I am sure most everyone has heard his tale; it is quite a popular one. After he failed to not look back after retrieving his love from the underworld, he was heartbroken. Calliope felt bad for him, got together with her sisters, and made the perfect nymph, one that encompassed a little bit of all their talents, but most specifically music. Which is why most call me a Music Nymph, she hoped that he would fall in love with me, and forget. Unfortunately, he could not forget, and he never fell in love with me.
Over time, I have travelled around, wherever there is music, I am rarely far away. Lately, since the BC has made their presence known, I have decided to stay at camp for a while, helping to inspire music from Demigods.
