Summer In London

Hey, thanks everyone for all the suport I am getting. Sorry for the longish wait, my computer likes to break on me all the time. Hopefully I am getting a new one for my birthday comming up-but who knows...Anyway like I said my computer screen always goes black, and then I have to wait for it to die..and then I have to turn it back on and charge it for it to work again. If any of you know what's wrong with it just let me know...So once again I'm sorry. This may be happening a lot soon, so be ready haha.

“Will you two stop and just share the damn towel?” Louis and Niall were tugging on the only towel left. Liam packed the wrong number of towels and Louis and Niall were busy fighting over the last one.

“But this one has vegie tale characters on it and Laura the carrot is amazing!” Louis said ripping the towel from Niall’s hands.

Niall wrapped his arms around his wet body. “But I’m cold now!”

“Here have mine,” I said handing him my baby blue towel. “I’m dry now anyway.” Niall smiled and happily took my towel wrapping it around his arms. I looked over at where Lena was yelling at Harry to do something.

“Harry, no you did it wrong!” she said snatching the lotion from his hands. “You can’t rub it in like that!”

I laughed looking over at Harry who had a confused expression plastered on his face. A glob of white lotion was smeared on his hands as he looked down at Lena.

“I didn’t know there was a right way to rub in lotion,” I said turning back to face the guy’s and Ashley.

Louis chuckled. “Well of course love, you have to rub in circles not up and down!”

Both Liam and Zayn started moving their hands in circular positions. “It’s gotta be circles!” they both sang out at the top of their lungs.

“Only circles!” Niall and Louis sang echoing Liam and Zayn. Even though they were obviously joking around they all still sounded amazing.

“Only circles!” I sang trying to join the fun.

After I sang those words the guys stopped and turned to me. Louis was the first to speak up. “Avalon, I just want to say-“

“Never sing again!” Liam finished his sentence holding back laughter.

I frowned in disappointment as they all agreed-even Ashley. “Yeah- hun you never have been musically talented.”

Rolling my eyes I sat down in the warm sand, still a little embarrassed from singing in front of them. I knew I wasn’t that good-but I wasn’t that bad. My stomach growled and I reached into my bag looking for a snack. To my disappointment there was not even a granola bar.

“Do you guys know if there is any little shops or café’s around here?” I asked, wanting something to eat.

“There’s a little shack farther up the beach if you walk for a while. It shouldn’t take you too long to get there.” Louis pointed left towards where Lena and Harry were sitting.

“Good, I’m starving,” I said getting up and brushing the sand off my legs. “Anyone want to come with?”

I turned to Ashley, hoping she would want to come but she was sitting with Zayn in deep conversation. Next I turned to Niall, and he was eating a candy bar.

“No one?” I questioned again, looking at Louis and Liam. Just as I though Louis was about to say yes, Harry spoke up from behind me.

“I’ll go I’m hungry,” he said standing up and walking over to me.

I spun around to face him, his light green eyes smiled down at me. Although he hadn’t been in the water he was wearing swim trunks and a V neck.

“Okay, cool,” I said unsure about what Lena would think. I looked over at her, she was lying on her stomach with ear buds in.

I grabbed some money out of my bag and headed off to the shack with Harry.

“So, how has it been?” he asked as we walked at the same slow pace through the hot sand.

I looked up at him. “Uh, it’s been pretty good since I last saw you.”
