"Happy Birthday Khy." I smiled as I shook her awake.

"Thanks mom." She mumbled before turning her head, rolling back over, and then burying her head back in her pillow.

"You're welcome baby, now get up and get ready to go out." I told her as I slapped her butt and stood up from her bed.

KJ was still with Tori and Josh so I called him at midnight to wish him a happy birthday. I can't believe my babies are ten today. It seems like it was yesterday, when I was raising hell and pushing them out.

Today I was taking Khy out shopping and then to get her hair touched up and curled before her party. Since she went and got pampered yesterday with her aunts, I still wanted to do something special with her. I just wish Khadarious was here to do the same with KJ, but thankfully Devin stepped in and they'd be doing their own thing today before their party.

Since Devin had stayed the night with us, he'd leave our house to go and pick up KJ so they could go out. Devin wouldn't tell me what he had planned for him so I guess I'd just find out later. Whatever it was, I just prayed it wasn't anything inappropriate.

"You want to call your brother and wish him a Happy Birthday?" I asked Khylan as we sat at the table to eat brunch. It was a little after eleven o'clock and the rest of the kids were still asleep. Pops and Linda were coming over in a minute to watch the kids for me while Khy and I were out.

"I already did, we were on the phone like all night." She yawned.

"I'm glad y'all talked, but you know your bed time is ten." I told her.

"But Mama, it's summer time and plus I'm ten now. Double digit age. Turn up." She said throwing her head back and yelling.

"Little girl." I laughed.

"Mama, is Daddy gonna be back in time for my party tonight?" She asked a few moments later and then looking up at me with hope filled eyes.

"I don't know baby." I told her, making her face sadden. "He'll try his best to be here though." I said trying to make her feel better.

"Okay." She mumbled.

It's almost time for the twins party and Khadarious isn't here yet, he hasn't called or text to tell the kids happy birthday or anything. I've hired a coordinator, clean up, and set up crew to handle the party so I wouldn't have to do anything but tend to my kids and myself.

The food is being catered so all I had to provide was the drinks and cake. I got Khy and KJ two separate cakes with two different themes because they couldn't agree on a joint theme. For the drinks, I got water, nearly every brand of soda, and fruit juices. I wasn't going to provide alcohol because I didn't want drunk people around the kids acting an ass. There was also a desert and candy bar set up. I would most definitely be taking full advantage of that.

Devin dropped KJ off an hour before the party was due to start. I had already gone out with him to buy an outfit so he was set. Khylan on the other hand took three whole hours just to pick out a pair of shoes.

I was so ready to leave her in that damn store, but since it was her day, I was nice. Otherwise I wouldn't been fussing there, the way home, at home, and the next day. But since it was her birthday, I let her slide.

"Khadarious isn't going to make it?" Tori asked me while curling my hair.

"I don't know." I sighed. "He hasn't called or anything."

"He's probably on the jet or something." She suggested hopefully.

"He hasn't been on that jet all damn day, he hasn't even told the kids happy birthday yet." I huffed. "You know how Khy is about her daddy."
