*I don't mean to offend anyone, just to understand. Sorry if I do.

If I handed you a bottle and a gun, which would you choose?

I already know this answer; I know which your hand would seize.

The bottle is your weapon of choice.

I didn't mean to be seen.

I'm sorry to be heard.

I wasn't trying to be mean.

But the whole of the world knows what you've done.

Now let me ask you this: if there was a gun to your head, another to your bottle, which would you save?

I already know this answer; I know which your survival would choose.

The bottle was your medicine of choice; it gave you reason again.

You will consume it to the brink of death and just when the lights dim, you'll stop and overdose on bitter life, and it will revive you .

Will you hear my pleas?

I never meant to say a word.

I see your whiskey seas.

Drowning in a pool of tears, now, look at what I've done.

Sorry from the darker side of the sun.

I know I've yet to win.

I was there once, lost in the proverbial silence that had drowned the heart of sincerity.

Can you forgive me for the intrusion?

I'll take that bottle now, not to be a hypocrite.

Here, take my gun.
