-Chance-
"Chance wake up son!" Dad bellowed, knocking the door loudly. I groaned and curled up smaller, patting the pillow to get it more comfy. "Chance! I don't hear you moving!"
I'm breathing, therefore my chest is rising up and down, resulting in my moving.
Ha! Beat that daddykins!
"Chance!" Kadie yelled, opening the door. I groaned and pulled the duvet up to my chin. Why can't they just let me sleep? It's way too early to be up!
Next thing I know, the duvet is being flung off of me and I'm soaking wet. A low, throaty growl escaped my lips as I stood up on my wet mattress. "Kadie." I growled, glaring at the douche that just spilt a pan filled with water over me.
The blond bimbo laughed and winked at me before escaping the room and dropping the pan to the floor. Stupid hoe. That's like my favourite insult for girls nowadays. Hoe. Hoe. Hoe.
"I'll get you back bitch!" I yelled down the hallway as I made my way to the bathroom. Locking the door behind me, I stripped off and jumped into the shower. After lathering both my hair and my body in soap, I rinsed it all away before stepping out at drying myself with one towel and wrapping another around my waist.
I stood in front of the mirror and studied myself. My blond-ish brown hair was now looking like a dark chocolate brown because of the water, and my skin looked cleansed and was free of any spots.
Why didn't Beau like me? Was it something I had said previously? Was it something I did? Was I arrogant? I'd like to think that I wasn't, but you can never be too sure. Or was Beau actually straight?
If he was, I'd have to give up and him altogether. The simple thought made me feel sick, so I ran a brush through my hair and left the bathroom.
"Clothes Chance, there are these amazing things made from various fabrics. You should try them some time!" Summer scowled as I crossed the hallway in just a towel. I chuckled and flipped her off.
After changing into black skinny jeans that I had bought from Blue Banana, and a plain white t-shirt, I snatched up my messenger bag, my wallet, keys, phone and jacket.
"Kadie, come on! I'm starving and I want to go to Starbucks!" I whined as she sat there munching on some toast that my mother had probably made.
"I hate you." Summer muttered beneath her breath when she entered the kitchen. I chuckled as Kadie stuck her tongue covered with munched up bread, out.
"Ew!" Daisy squealed and pushed her plate of toast away. Oh shove that, I thought as I leant over Kadie's shoulder and snatched up Daisy's uneaten toast.
Yummy!
As I slipped on my jacket, dad entered the already hectic kitchen. He raised a brow at us all before he began pouring coffee into a travel mug. "Kadie," He muttered, focusing on the steaming hot water from the kettle.
"Yes Mr O'Callaghan?" Kadie grinned slipping her chair back and picking up her pink rhinestoned gel cased Blackberry and her red lipgloss.
"Where did you sleep last night?" asked dad and he sipped his piping hot coffee.
I blushed as Kadie answered. "In Chance's room." God, she makes it sound like we did it or something! Which is both disgusting and wrong. She's my best friend and I'm only into Beau at this moment in time.
Plus Kadie is still seeing Greg...
Dad eyed us wearily. "Right. So why didn't you use the guest bedroom?" He questioned making Daisy and Summer laugh at my discomfort. Kadie seemed to be in her element as she skimmed through her texts. Stupid hoe, making me feel extremely awkward!
