Holding on is so hard,

When letting go seems so easy,

Smiling seems like a distant memory,

And people think she's sleazy,

She's desperate to feel loved,

To feel wanted and to be held like a dove.

Not to be treated like trash,

Forgotten and smashed.

She's shattered in all the ways,

To the point she lives in a daze,

Don't expect her to smile...

When life hasn't made it worth her while...
