Started out Differently
"I hope you enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, I have a meeting I have to go to. I will talk to you later Ms. Sanders and see how you are settling in. Have a good day Mrs." Terry cut him off with a look. "Sorry, have a good day Terry and it was a pleasure to see you again Ryan." He shook their hands and walked off in one direction while Terry and Ryan walked off towards their car leaving me standing here like an idiot.
I opened the envelope and peeked in. There was about ten pages, and a small book. I pulled out the paper that had a key taped to it. Room 239.
I pulled out the other papers until I found a map. I studied it for a minute before adjusting all of my bags and started lugging them towards my new room.
"Hey, are you new here?" A male voice asked me. I turned to see a guy about 6'1. He had short blonde hair and light green eyes.
He looked me up and down and stopped to smirk at my chest. Of course that is going to piss me off.
"No Shit Sherlock! I just felt like lugging around all of these bags for fun. And this map is nothing but a prop, I've been here for years." I glared at him.
"Damn. Get some dark chocolate." He snapped back.
"Damn. Get a brain. Of course I'm gunna be a bitch when you come over and start checking me out." I began to walk away but he grabbed my arm.
"Wait, I'm sorry, you're just like one of the only girls here." He smirked.
"Yay, I feel so much better." I pulled away from him and walked into a building. When you first walk in there is a lounge with a television, pool table, and a couches.
I walked down the hall looking at the rooms. 123, 125, 127.
I went up a set of stairs almost falling on my ass hundreds of times by my bags. I began down the hall way again. 219, 221, 223,225. I walked down the hall until I reached my room. 239. I turned the key and opened the door.
