Do you know how hard it is to say goodbye to the only family you have?
I held onto Bre as she cried into my shirt. "It's okay." I cooed, while rubbing her back.
"Julie! You better call me and visit me and text me and everything!" She pulled away and smiled. I kissed her on the cheek.
"I will. Bye sis. Take care of Liam for me." I heard Liam chuckle.
I turned to him and he put on a sad smirk. I walked up to him and pulled him into a hug. He was surprised at first, but then he wrapped his arms around me too.
He whispered in my ear, "I will get you back for taking the blame." I smiled into his shoulder.
"Not happening." He chuckled and patted my back.
"Stay away from those boys or I will come down there and duck tape you to your dorm." I smiled.
"Well, that's where the fun happens." He growled.
"I swear Julie, if any of those guys touch you, you are to snap their hands like a twig, or I will come down there and break more than that." He said completely serious. Ha-ha that reminds me of the joker!
"Oh come on bro," I smiled a creepy smile and tilted my head to the side, "Why so serious?"
He laughed and took a step away from me.
"That is really creepy Julie." I laughed and gave him another hug.
"Julie! We need to go! You're gunna be late as it is." Terry yelled from her car. I guess they think that I will make a break for it because Terry is riding in her car and Ryan is driving mine with me in the passenger seat. Ugh!
It's gunna be an hour long drive with the guy who now hates me, because I set a bad example.
I hugged Bre again before climbing in the passenger's seat and putting my head phones in my ear and turning on my favorite band, Escape the Fate.
My favorite song started playing and I sat there tapping my foot to 'Not good enough for the truth in cliché'.
I watched Bre and Liam slowly disappear and I felt like part of me stayed behind with my family.
I tried so hard not to let Bre see how upset I was that Julie had left. She took credit for me. Why would she do that? I have to do something to make it up to her, but I don't know of anything that I can do.
I walked Bre inside and she ran up to her room. I wanted to run after her, but my phone started ringing.
"Hello?" I looked around to make sure no one could hear. I recognized the number, it was Jax.
"I thought you got the message, but we are having a meeting about The Cage. All the fighters need to get down here, if they got away from the cops." I heard him laugh.
"Yeah, I'll be there soon. Where is it at?" He gave me the address to some weird abandoned building that was hell to find.
After about 20minutes of roming around in my truck, I finally found it. When I walked in, everyone stopped talking and looked at me.
"Where's Cobra?" Slam asked. "Could she not handle the heat?" He smirked.
"No, she is fine. I don't know if you remember but she kicked your ass so you have no room to talk. But my rents got pissed when they got us out of there and she took the blame for me. She's not coming back." I walked past them and Jax was just discussing new possible places for The Cage. I ignored them, thinking about ways to make it up to Julie.
At least my best friend is here. I looked around but I didn't see Marx. Where the hell is he?
We pulled up and Ryan parked in a student parking lot. I grabbed my bags and lugged them to where Terry was standing by a building with an old man.
Let me guess 'hi my name is Headmaster who-gives-a-shit, and we are so happy to have you at our school Ms. Sanders'. I dragged my bags with me. Thanks for helping ASSHOLE! I mean Ryan. Love you too.
I stopped in front of them and Ryan ignored me while talking to the old man.
I'm gunna call him baldy, it really suits him.
Baldy turned to me and put out a hand. "Hello, my name is Headmaster Goodwin. We are very pleased to have you at our school Ms. Sanders."
Did I call that or what?!
"Yup." I said as I shook his hand. Popping my lips on the P.
Ryan and Terry gave me a disapproving look, which I happily ignored. If they are going to judge me and treat me like shit after living under their roof as a daughter for about a month and a half, then I will treat them like shit too. Even though I don't want to.
"Well welcome to our school. I have your papers and room information right here." He held up one of those orange envelopes. I grabbed it from him when he offered it.
