This is a maybe story that I will maybe continue depending on what you guys think. Tell me if you like it so far!

I am at the base of an eerie hill, where the grass is gray and dusty. The hill, I feel like I have seen the hill before. Crows caw loudly in the background and I whip my head around, expecting to see a dark stranger lurking in the shadows. I cannot control my actions, and I start walking, running rather, to the top of the hill. The gravel passage is littered with skulls and dead bodies, while the spaces around the passage way are full with gravestones and mud.

The world around me is bleak and gray, draining me of my usual cheeriness. I reach the top of the hill, panting slightly, but otherwise refreshed. Before me, there is a woman, perched on a rock, crying and rocking, ever so gently. I walk over to her, and I sense suddenly that something is wrong, but somehow, I do not care. I pat her on the back but before I can do anything more, she whips around and I let out a faint moan. I almost scream in fear and disgust; this is not an ordinary woman.

My heart pounds in my chest, I stumble and I fall. She rises from her rock, her hair cascading around her in a cloak, and towers over me, silent and staring. Could this monster be classified as a girl? Her face is paled and hollowed, with big bags under her sulky eyes. Her face seems disoriented, with her nose as slits and her lips like thin lines drawn by a kindergartener.

Then she utters her first words in a raspy voice, “Do you see what you did to me? Girl, do you see the damage you inflicted upon me and my world?” Raising her hand ever so slightly, millions of shadows pop out of nowhere, and I feel almost too stunned to be scared. “These are the remains of the people who once happily lived in this world.” She adds, losing control of herself. “ANSWER ME, GIRL! DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?” she screeches, her hair thrashing around her face, like a dancing river. When I just am about to nod what head abidingly, my heart suddenly fills with courage. Why is she punishing me? I thought, wonderingly. I stand up abruptly and turn to her.

“You are a wicked woman! I haven’t done anything to harm you!” I scream and she cowers back, back into the shadows.
