SYNOPSIS:  

"Some one is trying to assassinate the king." Marcus said, shocked, "But who?"

"We have to find out and stop them!" Noah declared, and Marcus shot him a look that said 'it isn't that easy'.

"And how exactly do we find out? We can't trust any of the nobles, and the knights can be easily be bribed, no offense Noah, and I doubt there's anyone else willing to go beyond enemy lines."

I decided to speak up, "Of course there is someone, or really its more than one someone."

"Like who?" Marcus demanded, and I simply smiled.

"Four artisans; a poet, a painter, a musician and a dancer."

Three eyes looked at me, seeming to get what I was saying. There was a nervous cough and then Reyvick said, "You mean us?"

"Yes. If the king is going to live it's going to have to be us who saves him."

Harper Stoll was named after the goddess of destiny, because her adoptive father Davon always believed she had a large destiny. 

So of course, when Harper becomes a dancer, she manages to uncover a plot to assassinate the king of her country, and she decides it's her destiny to stop it from happening. But unfortunately, the king being the peace maker that he is will do nothing violent to stop the plot, so Harper has only one choice; she must gather information about the plot and it's conspirators so the king can make peaceful arrests. 

Thus Harper, and four friends and fellow artisans plus a maid who doubles as her best friend, must set out and travel to different countries. There they must battle thieves, bandits, kings and even common people to get what they need. 

Not to mention along the way, Harper will discover feelings such as love, trust, betrayal, hope, loss, friendship, hate and peace. She will also uncover a dark secret about herself that will force to make the ultimate choice between her family and her kingdom.
