She stares at the world with a wondering eye
Wondering what the world holds for her before she dies
Looking at the happiness, the pain, the despair
Searching for love that's hopefully there
In her hands lie a shining key
That unlocks her fate, her destiny
At her feet lies a life to live
In whatever form she wants to give
And that’s when she begins to realize
That character isn’t what the world chooses to recognize
But what you choose to recognize in yourself, and your life
