The Last Thing That She Will Ever See
I watch her every night,
In the moonlight.
One night I wanted more,
So I came in through her unlocked door.
At first she tries to run away,
But I catch her and say,
"Look at my face. Look at me."
I am the last thing that she will ever see.
I kiss her tenderly on the lips,
And as I walk away, all I hear are tiny wisps
Of her cries.
She now has no eyes.
