- Alex's POV - 

Yesterday was Gwynne's birthday.

As you already know, I gave her a kiss as a present.

Cheesy, I know. But hey, I just did that to make her happy.

Aren't brothers and sisters supposed to be sweet?

I have that philosophy in life that we should love each other. xD

So yeah. Today I'm gonna think of something to give to Alice.

Because you know, IT'S HER BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!

And I like her, so I'm gonna show her my romantic side for a change. I'm always funny around her, trying to impress her and stuff like that ;)

It's Wednesday so I better not tell you what happened today. It's boring, I tell ya.

Let's go straight to 8pm, my regular sister time with Gwynne. ^____^

Before that, let me tell you a secret.

Sssh, okay? :D

I feel as though Gwynne likes me more than a brother. You know, like crush or something?

But I won't let it show since it's dangerous, mamaya pagkamalan pa 'kong feeler eh. xD

If you're asking me how, I just keep receiving these general messages that she sends to almost everybody. Most of it contains emo stuff like, "waiting for the lines to fade away" and something like that.

But hey, I'm still doubting about it since she's still "infatuated" with that July guy. Yeah, that stupid guy who broke my sister's heart has the name of July.

When I see him, I swear I'll break his neck!

Okay, so now I'm here in my room. I grabbed my phone and dialled Gwynne's number.

*Rrrriiinnngg!*

*Click*

"Hello?" That's her! Gwynne!

"Heeeeyyy! How've you been?" - Me.

"Stupid, we've been together the whole day." - Gwynne.

"Yeah but we barely even talked." - Me.

"Right." What's up with her? Hmmm.

"Hey can I ask you something?" - Me.

"Yeah sure, what?" - Gwynne.

- Gwynne's POV - 

"Can I ask you something?" - Alex.

"Yeah sure, what?" - Me.

"What's a good gift for Alice? You know, for her birthday tomorrow?" And so he asked. And broke my heart again. CHOS.

"Oh. Haha. Hmmm. Probably something friendly. Like a keychain or something. She doesn't like romantic stuff as I've heard." - Me.

Hey! I didn't say that to wash his brain okay? I just said that because that's what Alice said to me.

A few hours ago..

"Hey Gwynne. You probably know by now that he's planning to buy something for me, right?" - Alice.

"Yeah." - Me.

"And I know that he will ask you what to give to me. So tell him that I'd prefer friendly gifts over romantic ones. Okay?" - Alice.

"Okay." - Me.

Back to reality..

"Ooh. How about roses? And chocolates?" - Alex.

"Uh. Whatever dude." - Me.

It's too painful to talk about those things! >__<

So I said good night and wished him good luck.

Good luck to me too.

The next day..

I went to school looking and FEELING crestfallen. It's just that I'm expecting a heartache today. A BIG one. It just makes me wanna cry.

As I entered the campus, Alex called me.

Great timing. Now what will happen to me?

"Hey sis! Great timing! Umm, can you give these to Alice and pretend that I'm a secret admirer? Haha, I want it to appear like that," oh and he's so happy to give this.
