Lost In Paradise

“Whoa are you okay there?” Tyler grabbed my arm as I stumbled a little.

I smiled at him and tried to make myself look fine and happy. “Yeah I’m fine. Lets just keep going.”

“Hey are you sure you don’t want to stop and take a break?” His caramel colored eyes showed concern, and he looked like he really cared about me.

“I’m fine Tyler. We need to keep going.” I looked ahead and started to walk even though I had to shake my head to clear the cloudiness in my head.

“Yo lioness!” I turned and glared at Luke who was just watching me with a smirk. “How much longer do we have to go?”

“Well we have to walk about one more day,” I replied.

He groaned and I gave him another glare. “Your killing me!”

“Well if you weren’t so lazy then you wouldn’t be tired now would you?”

“Shut up you little bitch!”  he hissed.

“F*ck you!” I growled.

He smirked evilly, and then licked his lips. “I wish you would!”

“Why don’t you just go die in a ditch somewhere?” I said through clenched teeth.

“Oh looks like I found another way to make you tick!” he chuckled.

“You do anything and I’ll f*cking kill you!” I snarled.

His gold eyes grew wide in surprise. “Hey are you alright? You never act like this. You always try to look all cold and emotionless so what the f*ck is wrong with you?”

“Hey I think you should just leave her alone,” Tyler glared at Luke as he walked up to me.

“Don’t tell me what to do pretty boy!” he spat.

“Seriously dude, you shouldn’t even be near her.”

“F*ck you and that little slut!” and with that Luke stormed off.

“You stupid bastard! I don’t give a damn about you so don’t come back!” I yelled at him. After I did I felt extremely dizzy and I stumbled a little bit. Luckily Tyler was there to catch me.

“Are you sure that you’re alright?” he murmured.

“I’m fine. Lets go.”

“Wait Alia. I think you should stp and rest for a little while. You look tired and we-”

“Shut up!” I snapped not intending to. “Stop treating me like a child! I’m fine and I sure as hell am not weak!”

I saw the pain and hurt flash through his eyes and I instantly regretted what I had said to him. The anger on his face now was painfully obvious. “Fine!” he yelled. “See if I care! All I was trying to do was watch out for you, but you’re just a cold hearted bitch!”

I didn’t flinch when he said that because it was true. But calling me a bitch was calling me a female dog, and I was sure not a filthy mutt. “Wait I didn’t mean t-”

“I don’t care! I was trying to help you but you are acting like a bitch! Lately you have been acting differently! But I don’t give a damn! So I don’t care!” And with that he stormed off.

“Luke wait!” I tried running after him because the fear started to rise up in my throat again, but I pushed it away. “Lu-” I felt the edge of the dirt hill give out under my weight and suddenly I was tumbling down hill. I didn’t feel any pain but after wards my body felt extremely weird.

I finally slammed hard against the tree making me feel a little shock of pain. I gasped and just stayed there closing my eyes. My breath came in shallow gasps as my lungs started to get really heavy. Nothing like this was ever happened to me like this, so why did it hurt to breathe? “Alia!” I didn’t open my eyes to look at who called my name. Well that’s what I wanted to do, but I sat up with my back against the tree. “What the hell happened?” asked a guy with gold eyes.

“I fell,” I croaked.

His eyes flashed with confusion, and then there was realization? No that cant be it. “Well how could you roll down the hill with out getting any broken bones?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I guess I’m lucky.”
