The One

You are the one I want to keep,

the one I see in my sleep

You are the one I want to wake up beside,

you are the one I seek to be my pride

In you I really trust,

and you I really lust

I want to be the one you love,

I pray to God from heaven above

I pray that this relationship grows,

I love you and I want the whole world to know

I hope we'll never be apart,

because you fill an empty spot in my heart

You're the one I've been longing to meet,

and I can't wait for that day

I need you so bad,

in every possible way

I've been waiting to find you each passing day,

I never thought it possible to love one this way

the love we have will always be there,

no matter what and no matter where
