Chapter One
I danced like a maniac and knocked back the bottle of vodka in my hand without a care in the world. I swallowed down the vile liquid and continued swaying my hips to the music that was being blasted around my bedroom from my stereo.
“Save some for me!” My friend, Vicky protested dramatically and soon the bottle was ripped from my hand. I looked to see my partner in crime chugging down the last remainder of the vodka in the bottle like it was nothing but water.
Tasha, my other friend in the room, started giggling loudly. She was jumping up and down on my bed and dancing some serious moves on top of it.
"Layla, come here!" She shouted over the music and grabbed my arm as I passed. Soon we were both dancing like lunatics on my bed, that I was sure would probably break soon.
"Girls!" Vicky drunkenly shouted towards us. "Are we going out or what? How much money do we have?”
I jumped off my bed and ran over towards my stereo, turning down the volume to hopefully stop Tasha from dancing anymore on my poor bed. Quickly I made my way over towards my chest of drawers and yanked open the top.
"I have," I rooted through the drawer and started pulling out some notes until I could find nothing else, "thirty quid."
Vicky groaned and pulled a face. "I have twenty... and Tasha has no money because her parents suck."
Tasha, who was now lying flat on my bed, ignored Vicky's jab and groaned loudly. "I feel sick."
"I guess me and Layla will just have to go out without you then," Vicky grinned wickedly making Tasha sit up quickly in outrage.
"You can't leave me here drunk and all alone!" She whined. "I'll call my cousin, he can burrow me money."
Vicky pulled a disgusted face, "No, please don't call your cousin. His obsession for me freaks me out."
"Are we going out or not?" I finally asked. It was Saturday night and the beginning of summer, tonight was meant to be a night to forget about the stress of school and exams and bless the first night of summer with serious fun and alcohol.
All our other friends were at a house party, but myself, Vicky and Tasha wanted to do something crazier so we opted out to go to this new cub that has opened near the city.
All the students at school are going on about how amazing and exclusive The Wolf Cave is, yeah, that's the name of the club. Jamie Fraser, a popular snobby-bobby at our school went when it first opened and started the rumours of its amazingness.
Apparently it's were everyone wants to be right now. But that wasn’t just it, I read in a magazine that the motto of the club is ‘It’ll change your life.’ Pretty cool, huh? I definitely wanted to check it out and see if it was life changing, I was a sucker for things like that.
But of course, there was a slight problem. That problem was that we are all seventeen and underage. No one, apart from Fraser, has managed to get in from our school. But Vicky had no doubt we'd get in, not with our real-looking fake ID's that we got from her thug-ex last year.
"Think our fake ID's will work?” I asked and Vicky rolled her eyes in reply.
"Of course they will, they're practically real." She smirked and glanced at Tasha. "And at least Tash has boobs…she'll be able to supply us free drinks, seeing as we're poor."
Tasha put her hands over her chest defensively and pouted, "You're such a bitch Vicky."
Vicky laughed and shrugged at the comment, “Your point being?
With Tasha’s boobs or not, I was happy we had finally come to some sort of decision. So it was settled, we were going out. It would have been better than the school party happening a few blocks away. I was almost a senior at school, so the high school party scene was getting a bit old.
Tasha and Vicky have been my best friends since I first started school, they are wilder than myself and completely gorgeous might I add. They use their good looks to wrap boys around their fingers, which evidentially works all the time.
As for me, I was a little more reserved and according to Vicky a prick tease because I haven't had sex with any guy yet, even though I’ve dated a fair few guys. I wasn’t holding my virginity in a precious little box or anything, I just haven’t found that one guy that I think deserves it. Then again, I thought the last guy I dated was different, but yeah, even he turned out just to be like every other teenage asshole in our school.
