Epilogue

Time flew by, and graduation is finally here and it brings tears into my eyes. The past month was interesting, Daniel resigned from being a teacher and he is now working in his father's business. I decided to tell my friends that I'm pregnant, they were all surprised and it took some time for them to get used to the fact that I'm dating Daniel. No one else at my school knows I'm pregnant besides my friends, I'm not really showing so that is great for now. After Jace found out I was seeing someone he accepted that and moved on. We are still good friends and he is actually dating a cheerleader. High school has been a crazy roller coaster, I came into high school thinking it would be easy and normal but it wasn't. I got kidnapped, I almost died, I fell in love, and I got pregnant. One thing is that I don't regret none of the choices I made, if I didn't go through all of that stuff I wouldn't be were I am today. I'm nineteen I'm in love with my bestfriend, I have a wonderful and supported family, we are expecting our first child in January. We plan on moving into the city and buying a house together close to my college. I'm going to be honest I don't know what to expect in the future, the future is so unplanned that crazy things can happen. Today is the day everyone has waited for since freshman year, graduation day.

I slipped on a light pink strapless dress; I grabbed my white wedges and slipped them on. I put my earrings and necklace on and spray some perfume on. I hear my moms voice from downstairs, " Madison we need to leave in ten minutes." She yelled.

"I'll be right down." I said, I grabbed my bag and my cap and gown and slipped it over my arm. I stopped and looked around my room and just see boxes, I smiled to myself and took a deep breath and opened up my door and walked downstairs.

"You look so beautiful, I can't believe you're graduating." My mom said pulling me into a hug, I laughed as I saw she was already crying.

"Mom, it's just graduation, it's not like I'm leaving you guys for good." I said pulling away from each other.

"I know, I know but still, you're not a teenager anymore." She said smiling at me, my dad walked up behind her and pulled her close to him.

"She will always be my little girl." My dad said smiling at me, I looked at my parents and started smiling.

"Bryce hurry up we need to go." My dad yelled, and we heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Yeah I know I'm right here." He said coming in the living room fixing his tie.

"Alright everybody let's get going." My dad said grabbing my mom's hand and pulling her outside.

"Guys, I can't believe in a few minutes we will be walking across that stage and goodbye high school." Lauren said wiping her tears, as Kevin pulled her into a hug.

"High school flew by." Justin said fixing his cap.

"Awe I love you guys." I said feeling tears brimming in my eyes; Lauren ran up and hugged me tight.

"You will always be my best friend." She said squeezing me tight, and then she whispered in my ear "I can't wait to see my little nephew." She said giving me a smile; we all hugged each other until we were interrupted by the announcement.

"Everybody get in your places." Lauren and I stood in line lucky our last names are right next to each other. Music started playing and the double doors opened up as we walked down the aisle. I heard my name being called and a smile came on my face, we took our seats and the ceremony started.

"Here we go." Lauren said standing up as our row stood up and walked towards the stage.

"Lauren Lakon." Our principle said, Lauren walked across the stage and everyone started clapping, she shook the principals hands and grabbed her diploma.
