You can't buy a size 6, so you get a belt,

You can't get a diamond, so you get some glass

You can't tell the truth, so say something heart-felt,

You can't have manners, so you fake having class

You can't show your tears, so you will just have to smile,

You can't condone violence, so sarcasm will have to do

You can't take it right now, you will have to wait a while,
