Why must you kidnap me?

Today is the day I’ve been dreading the most. My mother is being released from jail. Hooray (note sarcasm)!! Over the last two years Alec’s parents have let me say with them thinking I was the daughter they never had even though they have a 22 year old daughter already. Any way today mother is getting out and I’m nervous about what she might do to me.

“Hey!! Joe, earth to Joe!!! Anybody in there!!”

“Huh, oh, sorry Alec!! I wasn’t paying attention can you say that again?”

“I said do you want to go to the movies with me and the guys!”

“Sure, let’s go!”

This is exactly what I needed, I thought to myself. After Alec left to tell his mom that we were leaving my phone rang. I glanced at the caller id to see that my boss Marie was calling.

“Hello.”

“Hey, Joe, I was calling to ask if you had anything to do tomorrow night.”

“Uh, no, why?”

“You think you can cover for Max. He’s out sick with the flu and won’t be able to come in tomorrow.”

“Sure, I’ll cover for him. What time?”

“5 to 9.”

“I’ll be there.”

“Thanks! Bye!”

“Bye.”

Once I hung up Alec came walking in the room all ready to go. When we leave the house it’s only a 10 minute walk to the theater. When we got to the theater we bought our tickets and meet the guys in the lobby. We had to sit in the lobby for a few minutes until the movie started.

After a few minutes and a giant coke I had to go to the bath room. When I was finished and was on my way back toward s the boys a mega hot guy steps in my path.

“Hey, cute stuff!”

“Hi.”

“So haven’t seen you around here. You alone?”

“Well, actually I’m here with me boyfriends.”

“Boyfriends?”

“Yeah! See, hey guys!”

All at once the guys turned their heads in my direction and waved looking the guy in front of me up and down.

“The boyfriends!”

“Yeah, don’t worry their harmless!”

“Harmless?”

“Yeah, I’m going to get back to my group.”

“Ok! Bye!”
