I sat up in my bed, realizing where I was as soon as I looked up. The bunk beds were far too short for Melanie, as she laid half on, half off. It was time to complain again. Or we could set a fire in the kitchen and demand rights like last year. Nah, better not. They might not let us go anywhere anymore. Like that mattered though, we snuck out anyway. When was the last time we snuck out? Last night. We also met a couple of boys, cute ones too. Did I even remember to get numbers? I looked around for a paper and spotted them not only on a piece of paper, but on my arm too. The pounding in my head increased when I heard Melanie fall onto her face and yelp. I saw my lovable dark haired best friend jump back up and saunter out like nothing happened.
That's my girl. I got out of bed and into my slippers, passing by a ticked Tiffani and an overly excited Luna. Oh, I'm sorry. Did I forget to tell you about myself? Well, my name is Molly Crowne, and I will be narrating this story unless something bad happens, then it'll switch to my best friend Luna. But for now, welcome to my life and all the little memories and things that happen. I just got lucky I guess.
