Trey's car wasn't at the flat when I pulled up, but Zach's was. I pulled in next to his car and headed upstairs, knocking on the door.

I waited a few minutes, but there was no answer.

I tried the door and it was unlocked, which was odd for the boys.

Being Famous 101, you don't leave your front door unlocked.

A feeling of dread settled in the pit of my stomach as I called out Zach's name.

There was no answer.

I checked the downstairs first before heading upstairs, no sign of either one of the boys.

I was starting to freak out just a little, even though I didn't have any good reason to yet.

Something just seemed off.

Zach's room was empty, but the bathroom door was ajar.

"Zach?" I called out again.

No answer.

So I opened the bathroom door.

The scream that escaped my lips was inevitable.

There was blood splattering the bathroom floor, and some on the counter.

It looked like a scene from a horror movie.

But Zach wasn't in here, and I knew that Trey must've found him earlier, and that's why he didn't call me.

So I tore out of the flat, calling Trey as I ripped open my car door.

It rang through and went to voicemail, that son of a bitch.

So I called Jesse.

"Hello?" a breathless voice asked.

"Oh my God," I breathed, slumping back against my car seat.

"Katelyn?" Jesse asked.

"Jesse what the hell is going on?" I demanded, my heart pounding in my chest.

"You haven't heard?"

"No! I went to the Pad but Trey and Zach were gone and there was so much blood-" My voice cut off, my throat closing off.

What had happened to Zach? What if he was seriously injured?

I don't think I could handle it.

"I don't know the details yet," Jesse said, his voice having a calming effect on me. "But Trey took Zach to Children's Hospital Los Angeles."

Where Zach does his charity work, of course.

"I'll be there in a couple of hours," Jesse promised. "We're about to board our connecting flight here in Texas. Just keep breathing."

"Okay," I agreed.

"I have to go, alright? It's the last boarding call."

"Love you Jesse."

I could practically hear him smile. "Love you too Kate."

The line clicked dead.

I sped down to the hospital, the thirty minute drive practically killing me.

There had been so much blood.

The paparazzi were at the hospital when I arrived, and cameras and microphones were shoved in my face as I tried to get the door.

I couldn't get through, the cloud of paparazzi too thick.

"Move!" I ordered, my voice not too intimidating due to the fact that I'd been crying practically the entire way here.
