I'm Dying, Mate.

Iona woke up but everything was still Dark, she could feel synthia beside her sleeping peacefully and when looked at the digital alarm clock on her night stand, it was only 2 A.M. she sighs and pursed her lips while she just stared at the ceiling. 

I'm Getting Tired She thought. 

she hated the Emptiness inside her, she hated the Mere fact that she cant move on from it even though it pains her she wanted to move on from Trace, its time to move on from him, She needed to move on even though its already too late because she's going to die but it doesnt matter as long as she could, Try on living now. 

She keeps Staring at the ceiling until she got tired and turn on the Lamp on her side of the bed. she slowly pushes the covers away from her body and silently tries to stand without waking Synthia. After her silent move she moved to the door to go outside planning on going to the Noise proof Library that has a piano inside. 

she played the Piano and her mom thought her how, because back then her mom wouldnt let anyone touch her other than her friends, family and some professional doctors no other people out of that circle have touched her. her mom didnt even like the sound of a Tutor. In the hospital in the playroom there was a Piano where her mom used to sing lullabies to the children. all of the children in her Hospital loved her mom, Many people Loved her mom but when it comes to her DAd she doesnt know how he expresses his love to her mom 

Opening silently the Libraries double doors and closing it, she switched on the lights and the Library was with Two computers on one side and three rows and five columns of bookcases were on the side and then a Piano in between the computer and the bookcases, there were also life sized windows leading to small veranda's. the place was homey and smelled a little too old. 

Iona opened the Windows, she opened all of the life sized Windows that lead to the small verandas and made the cool air of the night come in the room. She smiled when a blow of cold air blew her face. she loved the cold she likes the feeling of it. 

then turning to the black Grand Piano she moves to sit and opens the case, she runs her fingers on the keys and smiled. she started to play and before she knows it she was singing along

She stops knowing the song was finished but at least she felt relieved now and refreshed it was a feeling she always felt, when she played. Iona smiled and felt the air suddenly change. it was strange really, it was still the cold air she loves but then she felt something blocking it. 

She turns her head to see...Drake. her heart stopped and her insides felt an undying warmth, she cant help but gasp and stare at him with surprise in her eyes. Drake looked...Desperate, with his eyes darker than its usual shade, his hair wild and messy it excited Iona in some way and it weirded her out. 

she could finally feel her heart beat but this time it was loud that she could hear it and could even feel it in her chest, it was beating fast. 

Drake slowly closes the Case with his eyes still trained on hers, he smiled lightly to see his mate and to be this close to him. Even though he rejected her and her body knows it but her body cant deny the pleasure being with him and it gives Iona more health just him being there, she could still live a little longer but only for hours.
