Pokemon: A New Journey in Sinnoh

*Ring! Ring!*

The sound of my alarm clock screams it's dinging bells in an annoyingly loud way that could wake up almost anyone in a mile from here.

"Arghh!!"

The gleaming light of sunshine blinds my face as it comes through my glass window. I hear a Starly, a bird like Pokemon, as it cries a high pitch on the roof of my house. I rub my eyes and then open them to rise from my slumber. I stretch my arms out as I sit up in my bed, kicking my blankets off my feet. I look at my window and then open it to be shown the sun radiating it's light toward me on this glorious day. The flying type Pokemon are flapping their wings in the smooth wind and the water type Pokemon are jumping around in their little pools of water. I could already anticipate that this was going to be a great day!

It was! Because today I'm officially 10 years old! Today's the day I get my very first Pokemon and start my journey as a Pokemon Trainer! Oh did I forget to mention, my name's Tiffany by the way! I live in this small, little remote town called Twinleaf town in the Sinnoh region with my Mom. There's all kinds of regions out there around the world. There's the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and, I just recently learned about this, the Unova region! All together there's like 5 regions, including mine, around the world! How great is that?! 5 different places just waiting to be explored, so many towns and cities crawling with trainers, all the famous landmarks I'll get to see... It's my dream to be a Pokemon Trainer and travel all around the world, meet different Pokemon, and people! I am tingling with sensation as I gaze at the grassy field of Pokemon roaming the beautiful landscape. It fills me with inspiration as I stare out into the open world from my window giving me hope that I'll be a great Trainer!

I'm so excited I jump off of bed in a victorious way and land flat on the floor. Haha, guess I should be more careful when I'm this happy. After all, I'm a Trainer. I have responsiblities like my Pokemon and taking care of myself. I won't have my Mom to take care of me now that I'll be on my own. I'm still surprised by how so many parents let their kids go on journeys to pursue their dreams... I wonder if they did the same thing when they were young...?

I stroll over to my closet and open it to find my favorite, casual outfit. I had been planning what I was going to wear for the past month in preparation for this day. I wore a black tank top and then I put a skinny pink sweater on with 4 buttons on it (but not for buttoning it up just for looks). I wrap a long white scarf around my neck and when I finish folding it the ends of the scarf are showing on my sweater. I comb my messy blue bed hair with my brush all the way down until it's straightened and then put two braids on my hair near my left and right ear and then to top it off I put on a beanie with a Pokeball symbol on it and fold the flaps up just a little. I finish by putting on 2 long white socks and put on pink boots to match with my outfit... I take a look in the mirror to see how I look and I'm perfect! I twirl in a circle once to see how I looked in the back but still perfection! Great for starting a new journey!

I go down the stairs and greet my Mom with a hearty hello and see a delicious breakfast on the table.

Mmm! Sausage and Eggs with a side of Orange juice! My fav!!

I take in the scrumptous food, forcing sausages and eggs in my mouth and then flushing it all down with the tangy orange juice! I know I may sound like a weirdo for doing that combination but hey, I'm my own weirdo.

My Mom looks at me smiling and giggles a little seeing me eat my breakfast like a truck driver.

"I hope you're enjoying that well. This is such a big day for you!" she says happily.

"I know!" I reply

"I've been waiting for, like, ever!" I exclaimed.

"I wonder what Pokemon I'll choose..."

I hold a sausage to my mouth, chewing and thinking about it at the same time... You have to go the Professor's lab to receiver your first Pokemon and Professor Rowan lets you choose from 3 different types. The Grass type, Turtwig, the Fire type, Chimchar, and the Water type, Piplup! I could just imagine now... I'm in a stadium with the whole crowd screaming and yelling at me. The whole crowd cheers as I envision different scenarios where I'm commanding the three different Pokemon...

"Turtwig! Use Razor Leaf! Chimchar! Use Flamethrower! Piplup! Use Bubble-Beam!"
