"Okay, so the salad bar is other there next to the entrance, so it's faster to get than the others because you're usually in a rush if you get a salad. However, because of this it is extremely popular and sometimes it is actually quicker to go to the main food bar, which serves the full hot lunch meals. Finally, there's the sandwich area where you just fill whatever bread with whatever fillings you want. Got it?" I ask.

Jared just stares at me for a second, before nodding slowly and saying," I think so...so if I wanted a sandwich I go over there, salad there, and a hot meal there?" he asks, pointing to each station in the correct order.

I just roll my eyes and say, "Yes! Now you can go eat I've got to go back to my friend, Beccy..." I start turning round to walk away before Jared grabbed my arm. I spun round, glaring at his hand on my arm. I'm sorry, but touching was a big no go zone with me, for reasons I will not explain, hell, I don't even know why I hate it so much. But no, that's not why I'm glaring at it, I'm glaring at it because it's not uncomfortable or freaking me out, which is scaring the hell out of me even more than when someone usually grabs me. Which is never by the way.

Jared finally sees my death stare on his hand and quickly lets go. "Sorry...just can I sit with you two? I am new here and everything, and after all you're sooo welcoming..." he says chuckling at that last bit, even I sort of smiled.

"Sure, you can sit with us, and for the record you never have to ask. Have you ever heard of social rejects? No? Well they're the ones who have no lives outside home and school. Me and Beccy are two such rejects, and just saying, you belong with my sister and the jocks at the bug table." I say shrugging and walking back to my seat. Beccy was still gawping at me.

"I didn't know you were cable of sarcasm, or in fact that amount of speech! This is ridiculous! Hold on why is he coming back here? He's sitting with us?! OM-" she whisper shrieks before I cut her off with, 

"Yes he's sitting here, yes I can talk for that long, yes I'm highly sarcastic, yes I am acting slightly crazy, and no, you were not about to say OMG! Now move up he's not sitting next to me."

"There's definitely something wrong with you..." Beccy mutters, before sliding over in the cramped booth to make room for Jared.
