Fire Hungry Mockingjay (COMPLETED!)

The sun shines through 

My window " oh god" I think 

Today would usually be the reaping 

But it's over now all over 

"Katniss?"Peeta says 

Just waking up 

I look over at him " yes honey?"  

"KATNISS! You ruined everything!" 

Peeta yells. Not again..  

" Peeta, babe you are safe" I try  

To calm him. Not working out. 

"It's all your fault, my family is dead!" 

He gets louder. I lean into him 

And kiss his soft warm lips. 

"Better?" I ask He smiles 

" Very " he says as he is hugging me. 

Now that Peeta Cray Cray 

Is over we are sitting at the table 

Nice and cozy little house I love it 

All of a sudden a knock at the door 

Then it flings open, Haymitch of course 

" Haymitch what do you want?" I say 

" Vodka" he says with breath I can smell 

From here. " We don't have any, unlike you" 

Peeta scolds " Shut up boy, you must" 

Haymitch scolds back. " we don't " I say 

" Damn, people these days " he turns around 

Then stops " Well hello..... Um fail? " he says  

" it's Gale " Gales voice comes familiar  

I stand up so fast knocking my chair down 

" GALE!" 

I go running past the drunk Haymitch 

And into Gales arms " Hey catnip " gale says 

Laughing for no reason.I break the hug 

"I thought you were in 2?" I exclaim.  

" I was, but I came back." he says smiling 

" Well! obviously breakfast is over" Peeta says  

Breaking the smile. " Your still with him?"  

Gale whispers I want to slap him but I  

Remember how he feels about me 

" Yes Gale I am" I whisper back Gale  

Crosses his arms like a five year old wanting 

Candy and pouting. " This is fun" Haymitch leans in 

And whispers to. " Well? Can I come in?" Gale asks. 

" Yea sure sure " Peeta yells from the kitchen 

Gale mummers something I can't really hear while I drag 

Him in something like" I wasn't asking you stupid" oh  

Well I smile cause pretty much my whole family is here 

Well but mom, she is at the hospital.  

I miss Prim so much know one really knows 

That I still cry in the bathroom sometimes 

Peeta almost figured it out I was in the bathroom 

Crying and he came home early and came upstairs 

To hear me crying he asked me if I was I said no 

I was fixing my make up, he should know better.  

I hate make up. Gale walks over to Peeta with something. 

"Do you know what this is?" Gale asks calm like 

But it gets me suspicious. " Yes it's a nightlock " 

Peeta says " A NIGHTLOCK!? " I yell I run over to Gale 

Grab it and throw it out the window into the woods. 

" Gale! " I yell at him. Gale looks at me confused. 

" It reminds her to much of the...... Past" Peeta says 

" Oh, sorry Catnip " He says very sadly 

" Its ok Gale " I say and hug him. " I am going to go 

Change" Peeta says breaking the hug " Don't do anything 

While I am gone" Peeta giving Gale a glare 

Gale throws his hands in the air like he is going to get 

Arrested. I smile " We won't " I promise him. 

" So... How have you been Kat?" Gale says  

Circling the island in our kitchen 

" Great, how about you?" I ask 

"I am good" He says. " so you thinking about kids?" 

Gale asks Hmm why does he care? Why is he 

Circling the island like that? I turn around.  

I am scared to death by seeing Haymitch  

Passed out by the door!" Oh gosh Haymitch"  

I say gasping to make my heart calm down. 

Gale starts laughing, and I turn around. he is 

Right there, was standing there the whole time 

I guess leaning over me laughing. 

Then he stops and looks into my eyes, just staring 

Gale leans in,next thing I know I am feeling 

Soft,warm,beautiful lips on mine. 

Oh my gosh! Gale is kissing me! I try to push away. 

He is grabbing me and won't let go! I keep trying. 

No use. I give in, I have missed his lips, no lie. 

So nice.. I close my eyes and keep kissing.
