Jade.
‘Jade’ a shout came from outside my room. I opened my eyes from the sleep I wished I stayed in. ‘Yes’ I replied. Luke walked into my room. His dark brown hair was pushed to the side and his light blue eyes stared at me. ‘Breakfast is in five minutes’ he said, then smiled and walked out the room.
I got dressed quickly, pulling on a pair of skinny jeans and the nearest t-shirt in my closet. I slowly walked down the stairs to see Luke sitting at the table eating pancakes. Luke is my older brother; he’s 20 while I am 15. ‘Hi Kiddo’ he said. ‘Hey’ I replied.
‘Oh Luke I totally forgot, I have guitar lessons this morning I have to go’ He gave me a nod and said ‘Okay, see you later bud.’
‘Bye’ I called as I picked up my, what seemed like 150 pound, bag and ran out the door.
The half ran half jog to school wasn’t that bad considering it was late January. I went to my guitar lesson as normal then headed to History for the first lesson of the day. I walked in and took my usual seat. There were two reasons why I hated this class: one because it was history and two because of the complete jerks that we in it. The worst of them all was Nathan Ames; he would sit at the back of the classroom and brag about all the girls that love him and his new scoring record in football. My thoughts were interrupted by Mr Metz walking into the classroom. ‘Right class, I have assigned partners for you to do the World War project with’ then He begins writing names on the board.
I looked to my right and notice that Jenny had been sitting next to me the whole time. ‘Hi, sorry I didn’t even see you come in’ I said apologetically.
‘It’s cool, good thing I can tell when you’re in deep thought’ she replied.
‘There you are Class’ Mr Metz said as he walked away from the board.
