Day Four:

Karen..

"I'm going to have you two to report to your rooms, right now." The man said, holding a red piece of paper. I didn't want to leave until I know exactly what's going on.

"Why do we have too?" Sierra asked all sudden.

"Just go! Do you want to get harmed? If not, I highly suggest the both you to go! Or else I'll have to force you myself." He said, eyeing us.

"Man please. You ain't laying a hand on us. Just tell us why you're evacuating everyone and we'll leave with no trouble" I said.

He sighed in frustration, biting his lower lip. He looked around the place hurriedly before landing back on us. "It's been raining for the past few days now, and the forecast says it might be a storm-" Sierra screamed in terror. "A storm? Where the hell did it come from?" She asked, her arm clutching on mine tightly.

"We don't know. It was unexpected and-" Someone yelled, frightening all three of us. We sharply turned our heads in the direction of the noise to see a big gap on the floor. There was a hole in the middle of the deck. I felt Sierra give a tighter grip on my arm. I was now terrified. It began to rain even harder and the sky's turned darker. This must've been more severe than I thought it would be.

"Attention! Attention!" A man in an anchor suit practically screamed. All the commotion grew louder, ignoring the mans announcement.

I knew we should've just went to our rooms. We're such dumbasses. Suddenly, a loud sound of a horn brought everyone's attention. The loud noises of everyone's screams settled, and all attention was to him.

"Do not panic! We can handle this. Since the exit to your rooms are now blocked, please report to the boats immediately. Now it doesn't mean you'll get dropped into the oceans, but i repeat, do not, and i mean do not press the red button. I repeat, do not press the red button. And-" The crowd ignored his last statement and ran into the little ships.

How rude. Sierra pulled me behind her and we got onto an empty boat. I kept an eye on the button, just incase someone accidently presses it. "K-Karen? We're gonna be safe, right?"

"Of course. Just remember, stay together." I warned. She nodded stiffly.

There was a blanket covering the roof so we were shielded from the rain. There was a lot of yelps from outside and I wasn't about to look out. The rain settled a little bit but it was still pouring. But i still don't understand how such rain can just blow the wood boards on the floor. Is that possible? Because there wasn't any strong winds to at least knock down a cup from a table.

I clutched my purse as i closed my eyes. I prayed to only be safe for the both of us. I just hope everything all goes well. Oh god this is the scariest thing that's ever happened to me.

The blanket suddenly opened and in came a young man. I couldn't see him properly, due to the fact that it's practically midnight and it's really dark. But i wasn't to concerned for him right now. I was more focusing on me and Sierras well-being.

I just hope this doesn't end like those tragic movies I've watched before, that would be terrible. I'm glad i had my phone with me. Maybe when all this is over, which I hope it will, I can tell my parents and everyone back home that I'm safe.

It started to pour heavily and I grew tired by the minute. So was Sierra. But I needed to stay awake for the both of us. I felt ourselves tilt a little but I paid it no mind. I heard more screams and wondered what could possibly be happening now. But I kept an eye on the button, I am certainly not getting launched into the seas.

"A-are you ladies okay?" A voice said, barely above a whisper.

Sierra looked at him before replying, "Um, a little tired, but fine." She said, laying her head back on my shoulder. I looked at the book in my lap, debating on whether or not it's the time to read. I'd rather not. At least not in this situation. I dug into my bag and brought out one of the blankets I had. I wrapped it around us both. I also gave my other one to the man in front of us. I figured he needed it too.

I knew we were gonna be here for quite a while.
