“Steph!” I heard my mother call in the distance she has been afraid to be alone after she found out the gruesome story that went with the new house we just bought. It all started when this guy named Frankie Brown Got fired from his job at a law firm. He drove straight home to share the sad news with his wife Emma. But when he got their she was waiting to tell him she just got promoted to vice-president at her job as a sales reprsentive. Well to spare you all the sicking details lets just say he had really bad anger problems and he just snapped but he didn’t just stop with his wife he finished him self off when he was done with her.
“Coming mom I’ll be down in a second.” I said “Ok honey just try and hurry up please.” Just as I started walking towards the stairs I heard something glass break. “Mom are you ok?” I asked now running down the stairs, “NO GET DOWN HERE NOW HURRY!” I ran down the rest of the stairs and when I got to thee kitchen my mom was just standing their I swear she was so pale I could see her veins. “Mom what happened are you are you ok?” I asked quit puzzled. “No I-I-I-I saw her … Frankie’s wife Emma she was just standing their watching me in her blood stained clothes.” She finally managed to get out “Are you positive mom?” I asked her questionably like when you see a little kids fingerprints on the cookie jar but they clam they didn’t do it. “Stephanie Jane Carrey are you calling your own mother a liar?” “No” I lied to tell you the truth I think she is going crazy litterly. She has been calming for a while now that she was seeing things .But me and my dad thought she just wanted to move again because she got the chills in this house. “Steph will you stay down here with me till your father gets home?” “Yes mom but why do you ask me like I have a choice.” So we waited for my father to come home and when he did arrive she told him every thing she saw but then they started arguing, I could only hear my father repeatedly say “Don’t fill her head with that nonsense she is just a kid.” I stopped listening because the fact he kept calling me a kid even though I was turning eighteen in four months meant absolutely nothing to him I guess. Well when the arguing stopped my mother went to the “store” but me and my dad knew that she just parked a block down and cried because we saw her before and she never came back with any groceries. When she left my dad called me to their room and told me never listen to my mom when she says something like that again because it is just a bunch of nonsense. But no matter how many times I tell him I don’t believe her because I didn’t believe in paranormal activity. But he just told me if she says any thing about it again to call him and he will come home and talk some sense into her. Then he had to go back to work. When she arrived home she went
Straight to her bathroom took a shower for a little over an hour and just lied on her bed as she had no happiness left in her. I called my dad and asked my dad if I could barrow the car and go to the store. I picked up some movies and snacks because when I was little my mother and I had movie nights all the time while my dad worked. After I finished up at the store I went to my mom’s favorite ice cream parlor and got her favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip then I headed home. “Mom are you up?” I asked softly as I knocked on her bedroom door. “Yes come in.” “I got your favorite ice cream, movies, and some snacks I thought I’d stay in and have a movie night with you like when I was little.” “Oh honey you would do that for me?” “Of course mom it kills me to see you sad like this or any other way but happy.” “I love you Steph you are the best daughter any grateful mother could ask for.” “I love you too mom now lets get this movie night started!” well we watched movies for a while till my mother and I cried our selves to sleep watching sad movies but I have to admit I love my mom just the way she is crazy and all “Steph get up” those were the words I woke up to “What, dad is that you?” I asked with a scratchy voice “Yes come on I will carry you to your room you and your mom cried your selves to sleep.” It was not a long walk to my room from theirs and I only weighed a hundred and twenty pounds so I didn’t feel that sorry for my dad. “Thanks for taking me to my room dad.” “No problem it’s the only thing that reminds me of the good old days when you and your mom would watch movies and I would carry you to your room almost every night while you were sound asleep the whole time.” “Ya those were the good days and then we just got so busy and I was growing up so fast but you still think of me as your little girl why that is?” “Well Steph I am really sorry I wasn’t around as much as I should have I just berried myself into work and I missed so much so that is why I call you my little girl because I wish I spent more time with you when you were one.” “Its ok dad I learned allot from you like to multiply because I would always see you doing taxes and bills and I wanted to be just like you when I was little and still do, I don’t resent you or any thing like that for being gone all the time dad I love you and mom just the way you both are.” “I love you too Stephanie now get some sleep ok good night.” “Good night dad see you tomorrow.”
