"Raina,wake up!"I heard Mercedes yell. I rolled out of bed and landed on the floor. I finally opened my door to reveal an angry Mercedes."You're going to be late for your first day at McKinley!"

"Do I have to go?"I whined.

"Seriously,Rain?!You promised that you would audition for New Directions!"

"Mercedes,no!I 'm not doing it. Can't sing and don't want to!Plus,I'm mad shy!Honestly,I only promised because I thought that it would shut you up!"She knew that I felt shy in front of new people and crowds. She was the only person that I could trust.

"Everyone is dying to meet you."

"Fine,I'll go!"I said realizing that I didn't really have a choice.

"How do I look?"I asked Mercedes. I was wearing black skinny jeans,a BVB t-shirt,and black converse with blue laces.

"You look great!Kurt will love your outfit!"

"Great,by the way,who is Kurt?"I asked,unfamiliar with the name.

"My fabulous gay best friend."

"Cool,I can't wait to meet him."

"Oh,one more thing...Beware of the slushie!"Mercedes said in a scary tone.

For a minute,I wondered what she was talking about,but then I decided that it was one of those things that shouldn't be questioned.
