Dudes and dudettes, just so you know, I wrote this when I was in fifth grade, so it's short and kinda bad, but I found it and said "okayyy... why not post this?" So here you are. :)

By the way, this is dedicated to janefoxx, who inspired me to actually post something!! XD The first story I ever read on here was by her. Thanks! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is horrible, thought Lillian, crossing her arms, why couldn't I have been born an ONLY CHILD!? I plainly said that the little brat was not my responsibility, and now they want me to babysit the thing! I'd rather be at wizard school, and that's saying something. Why can't they bring him to a daycare like Sierra's parents do? Oh yeah, she added sarcastically, I forgot that they want me to "grow up". Like this will help me. All it's going to do is drive me insane! "Momm... why do I have to do this?" Lillian complained, then, as an afterthought, added, "You know I can't be in the house alone." Yes, she thought, it was that easy all along! But she stopped when she saw her mom smiling.
"That's nice to point out, sweets, but you're over the age limit," she said.
Ugh! Lillian thought angrily, why, why, WHY!? "Then can I at least lock him in his room?"
"No. You can read to him from six to seven thirty, eat dinner-"
"A nice dinner," her mom put in.
"Yes. Then put him in bed at eight. You have free time until nine thirty because tomorrow is Saturday," said her dad sternly, holding his ground.
This is stupid, thought Lillian, feeling really angry, but trying to look normal at the same time, which wasn't easy. "Okay mom. Can you write down the schedule please? I might forget it." While her parents went to get the schedule, Lillian grabbed her wand and slipped it up her sleeve. All she wanted to do was practice her Invisibility Charm for the test tomorrow. It won't hurt him, so I'm fine, she told herself, yet she still felt insecure.
"Okay you two," her mom said, handing Lillian the schedule, "good-bye and be good," she said, glancing at Lillian suspiciously.
"Bye mom! Bye dad!" said Lillian.
"Bye-bye mommy and daddy!" yelled her little brother.
"Call us if anything goes wrong," said her dad as her parents walked out the door.
Well, he's obviously not that smart, she thought, so he won't notice if I bend the schedule, like, about three minutes, that's all it takes. She picked him up, grabbed a book, and started reading.
*******************************
Act normally, thought Lillian, over an hour later, I'll just do the charm and countercharm super quickly. She pointed her wand at her brother and muttered, "Agi-I mean-oh no..." What do I do? I did the wrong charm! She thought wildly, Mom and dad will kill me! She looked towards the phone and remembered her dad's words: Call us if anything goes wrong, but she decided not to get them involved. Lillian sat down and started absently tapping her foot. "Oh no...oh no..." she kept muttering. Suddenly, she jumped up. That's it! She thought, as she ran to the computer and typed Countercharm Book into Look-up Wizard. There. She found what she was looking for:
The Countercharm Book: There is only one copy printed, and it is under high security. Most people die trying, so DO NOT GO!
Oh, I hate wizard computers! They know exactly what you're thinking! Ugh. "I don't care, you stupid computer," she said aloud, "I'm going anyway!" She continued searching and found out exactly where it was. She packed a bag, printed the map, and ran out the door.
***********************************
"Okay, so I turn left here...no, that was the last crossover. Grrr..." Lillian had been searching for the gates for what seemed like forever. "Let's backtrack...no...found it!" she suddenly exclaimed. Yes! I rock! I rock! I- her thoughts were interrupted by a loud BAM! With the sound of metal crashing-no, crushing-something to smithereens. What- "AHH!!" A giant arm swung at her, but she ducked and scurried the opposite way. Help please! She thought, How in the world do I get through this thing!?
As if in response, a voice hissed, Slice twelve, slice twelve...
What's that supposed to mean? she thought, dodging the crazy flailing arms that were still swatting at her. She hardly took notice that the voice was not from a human nearby. Slice twelve what!? she wondered, looking at the arms, Twelve... "That's it!" she exclaimed "Slice off twelve arms! Let's see... there are six arms holding the gate shut and six swing at people!" Perfect-o! She whipped out her wand. "Chopslicer!" she said, and pointed her wand at one of the arms, and it fell to the ground. Yes! She kept pointing and muttering, and soon enough there were twelve sparking metal arms on the ground. "Whoo!" she yelled, and ran through the gates.
