That feeling of dread starts to creep in, poking at every bone and nerve in my body. Waiting for my aunt to come pick me up outside the doctor's office was the worst, waiting to see her S.U.V pull up and take me back to that hell house, unbearable.

The only thing that I could really even enjoy was that I, Alice Whisenhut, kissed Gale White. And it wasn't even a peck on the cheek or blowing him one from my palm. But a full on facial touching, lips caressing, kind of kiss. And the whole thing made me want to jump up and down and scream at the top of my lungs. I always watched him from a far, looking into the swinging doors of the bar everytime I came into town and crossed the street to head to the grocery store. He was always wiping something down or serving someone a drink so I never once thought that he would see me staring at him.

But what if he had caught me once? Looking out of the corner of his eyes and thinking I was a stalker or some kind of freak. The thought only made the dread feel even worse, and I could almost feel the vile acid of vomit come crawling up my throat. Swallowing it back I decided I was going to ignore him and act like the kiss never happened. I mean I did kind of dismiss him after we kissed, like I was doing it just for the hell of it. But I'm pretty sure he would act the same way towards me, there was no way that a guy like him would ever fall for a girl like me.

Thinking this thought I turned around and examined myself in the glass door of Dr. Pastel's office. Looking myself up and down I noticed my skin was a little to pale, probably from being cooped up in the house all the time. And my hair was a bit stringy, my legs and arms seemed too long and scrawny. My boobs were probably decent enough and turning around I could see that my ass was quite plump. I wasn't over weight, but I wasn't super model skinny either. As I turn around in the glass I notice that someone was looking at me and smiling.

Turning around I could see Gale looking at me as if I was trying on a new dress and he was telling me if it looked good or not.

"You don't have to look at yourself to think you are pretty, you should already know that." saying it with such intesity that I was pretty sure my knees almost buckled under me.

Rolling my eyes, I walk towards him and smile. "Well now, if you weren't a stalker I don't know how you would point them out these days."

"I'm not a stalker but your driver this evening." he says as he takes a bow and walks around the car to open the passenger door.

"Your aunt asked if I would bring you home since she is not feeling well and she can't drive while she's taking her medication."

Well that explains why she hasn't shown yet, probably thinking of what deadly surprise she should give me. Feeling all my anger rise, I had to calm myself. I could not let her win by my emotions, so the anger had to go, or I would end up regretting it.

Climbing in the car, I watch as Gale shuts my door and runs around to slide in the driver's seat. I couldn't help but look at him and try and find one flaw that would make me unattracted to him. Except for one scar on the left side of his head, he seemed flawless. Which even the scar made him look sexy, and more bad boy at the same time.

"So, Alice, about last night. I want you to know that that kiss meant more to me than just a kiss." he says as he looks at me and starts heading up the hill that led to my aunt's house.

Guessing by the monotone look on his face, my face was probably showing no emotion, but I was confused.

"What are you trying to say? That you like me or something? Cause if that's the case, you can't. You don't even know me."

Taking a sharp left he looks at me, "What if I told you that I liked you for a long time. That I would try and find you when you came into town all the time. How do you think I got you to the doctors so fast, if I hadn't been watching you?"
