A Daydream Away - Jack Barakat Fan Fiction

Katie's POV.

Jack went to walk on stage as the intro into timebomb started. I really liked this song, it was different. Jack had such a great stage presence, he was fun and loving. Just like he was off stage.

Standing there watching I realised how lucky the guys we're to have what they called 'the barrier kids', different kids every gig, but their the ones from that town that know every word, to every song and really do appreciate the guys. You can tell by the amazement in their faces.

Alex came walking towards me heading for his acoustic ready for remembering sunday, pulling some weird face. He grabbed my hand and screamed over the teenage squeals, "Jack told me that you have a fine set of lungs, remembering sunday, Juliet's part.. who doesn't know it?! Let's go!"

Ive never been a fan of performing infront of crowds but here seeing the fans sing along with Alex with All Time Low, it felt amazing. Alex finished his part, I took a deep breath...

"I'm not coming back, I've done something so terrible, I'm terrified to speak, what you'd expect that from me, I'm mixed up I'll be blunt now the rain is washing you outta my hair and outta my mind keeping an eye on the world from so many thousands of feet off the ground I'm over you now I'm at home I the clouds towering over your head"

I took another last deep breath and Alex announced "Hey guys, this is Katie! And since is the last show of this tour id like to announce that she'll be joining us on warped next month singing with us! Hope y'all enjoyed that"

I made a swift exit off the stage, gaining a high five off Zack on the way off and a kiss on the forehead from Jack from the stage side. I calmed myself and cleared my head. My first thought ..

FUCK.

WARPED.

REALLY?

Alaina leaned over to me, "Yeah, I was just talking to Zack.. Jack told us guys before we went on how good a singer you we're and to give you a chance, and they all said that if you we're good enough that you could join on warped. I also may have mentioned that you and Luke are over, anyway.. congratulations baby!"

Wow, this was alot for me to take in.

"Of course, me being Zack's girlfriend, I'll be there with you at warped" Alaina said excitedly.

We both started jumping up and down, screaming like little girls. This was great. The guys set just finished. They all came running off and joined in the jumping and screaming.

Suddenly I was swept off my feet, by Jack of course. He had me held like a baby, but this time I was in his arms I was held tighter than ever. He whispered in my ear again.. "I love you, and I mean it." He put me down infront of all the guys, it all went silent.

"What's happening dudes?" Rian asked confused.

"KATIE I LOVE YOU, WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?!" Jack announced to everyone.
