Stole My Heart

Prologue

I shut the door behind me and leaned against the wall of the bathroom. It was late and the party has gone completely out of hand. If it wasn't for my fucked up father, I wouldn't have gone here.

The music was blaring loudly outside, the bass was popping and the walls were shaking. My head hurt so bad, as if my skull was being drilled and pounded. The whole place was spinning before me and everything was a blur. I definitely had too much to drink.

I moved away from the wall and turned to look at myself in the mirror by the sink. My dark brown hair was a mess, sticking up in different directions and my mascara was smudged on my cheeks. My lips had gone pale and my black dress was on too low, my chest was almost popping out. I fixed my dress and I sat down on the floor, trying to make the pain in my head go away. I looked around but I quickly shut my eyes because there were trails and it just added up to the headache.

"Hello? Is anyone there? I'm coming in!" Before I got the chance to reply, a guy already made his way in through the door. He passed me by and I looked up to try and recognize who he was but my vision wasn't being cooperative.

"Who the fuck are you and why did you enter?There's a girl here... you know?" The words felt heavy in my mouth and I tried to stand up but I couldn't.

"Oh, no worries babe, I just needed to wee. I'm quite bladdered." He sounded distant but strange enough, I was able to make out that whoever this guy was, he was British.

"What? What the fuck is bladdered?" I asked, not really paying attention to what I was saying. "Is it hot in here? I'm sweating like... It's so hot!"

"You're drunk too, I see. Here," he moved closer to me and lifted me off the floor and on to his arms. "I'll take you to a room."

"What?"

"You've got to stop saying 'what' so much, love. Just close our eyes."

I did as he told me and I just felt myself being carried which made me feel a lot dizzier that I already was. After a moment, he put me down on a bed and I opened my eyes. The light was dim but I saw his blurry figure towering over me.

"Wow. You're so kind and you got a really, really sexy accent. What's your name?" I hadn't planned to talk but the words poured out of my mouth voluntarily.

"Go to sleep babe, you're wasted."

"So are you. You know what? Come here. I'll whisper something to you." I lifted myself up from the bed and I sat while my arms gestured for him to come closer.

He did come closer to me, and I still wasn't able to see his face clearly, then I grabbed him by the shirt and I whispered,

"Wanna shag, british boy?"

I didn't even know what the fuck I was thinking and what the hell got into me to think that it'd be okay to ask something like that to a stranger who wouldn't really say no to that sort of thing. What happened next was all a strange, surreal blur. 

We were tearing away each other's clothes and we were touching a lot. His kisses felt hot against my skin and my nails were digging onto his back. I felt my head pound and we were sweating like crazy but we didn't care. Next thing I knew, our clothes were everywhere, I was sprawled on the bed, the white sheets covering me up and his arm draped over my stomach.

"You haven't told me your name yet." I looked to him as he stood up from the bed and put on his clothes. He walked away and turned the lights on.

It took quite some time for my eyes to adjust on the brightness of the light but as soon as they did, I was able to see who he was clearly and I just knew I was in deep shit.

"I'm Louis. Louis Tomlinson. I had a great time, love." He winked at me and walked out of the room.

I was in total shock that I hadn't been able to speak at all. I cursed under my breath and closed my eyes, letting sleep take over.
