This will probably sound cliché because of how often it is said

But without you I’d most likely go bonkers in the head

I’d like to say, “I Love You” for all that you have done

Without you guys my head will be spun

With no one to hug me

When I’m in trouble

No one to lighten my mood

So the pain doesn’t double

No one to scold me

When I do something wrong

No one to count with

When the days seem so long

So thank you, for your help to my growth

Thank you for telling me what you know

To help me in my daily battles

And when my cage is so weak it starts to rattle

Thank you for the little things, too

Because I’m sure without your help, It’ll look like a zoo

Thank you for making my food, and giving me advice, mom

I wish I could repay you, but it’s impossible to repay the feelings

Thank you for enlightening me on the world that is your head, dad

And dropping my ego, honestly, when it touches the ceiling

Thank you both of you for giving me so much love, and care

Because I know such precious love is rare

                                                                    With love, your daughter
