“I like that girl,” Lacey said as she leaned over to me. We were casting models for my show next week and were currently watching a model audition for a spot in the show. I nodded in agreement. This girl would be perfect, she looked like she would be the girl next door and not ungodly thin like I’ve seen most of the day.

I was thankful that I only had to choose six models for my show because I was getting help from my friends. Mollie, Kara, Sophie, and Rita were joining the chosen models. Rita and Sophie were helping with the selection while Mollie and Kara were due to arrive this week.

“If I were you, I’d choose her to fill your last spot,” Rita said as she leaned over and I smiled, nodding my head. I looked to Sophie for approval and she nodded as well. I held up my hand for the girl to stop her strut down the catwalk and she turned to me with a hopeful look in her eyes.

Standing up, I said, “I want to congratulate you on being in my show, Taylor! Thank you for coming in!”

“Thank you so much for the opportunity!” Taylor grinned back. Shaking her hand, I said, “You are welcome! Just see Lisa for all of the details for the show and I’ll see you next Saturday!”

Lisa stepped forward and led Taylor back to the changing rooms. I sat back down and looked at my three friends, saying, “Well, that was easy! I wish every casting call could go like that!”

“I think that it helped that you were more specific on what you wanted,” Sophie stated as she added Taylor’s head shot to the portfolio book and then handed the book to me. I nodded at her in agreement and said, “I am sure that helped a lot. I’ll remember that next time when I’m looking for a specific image.”

“Um, excuse me? Am I too late?” we heard a whiny voice ask that made us all look at each other in wonderment before looking towards the sound. Mollie let out a loud laugh as we saw her and I ran towards her.

“Oh my goodness, you’re here! I didn’t think that you were coming until Wednesday!” I squealed in excitement as I hugged her tight. She giggled in my ear as she hugged me back. It had been almost three weeks since her wedding and I couldn’t wait to hear all about her honeymoon with Callen.

“Oh you know Callen, he wanted to try out new recipes to run pass you.” Mollie said, casting a smile over her shoulder at her husband, who strolled through the door of the studio. An instant mushy smile melted onto her face and I stepped back, holding her at arms length as I said, “Aw, you have that newlywed glow!”

“Thanks,” she blushed as she demurely rolled her eyes as she melted into his arms when he wrapped them around her waist. As I watched him kiss her cheek lovingly, I wondered if I would look that way when Scott was around. It was always just a comfortable feeling being in his arms when there was no pressure to define it and even when we did, we just shrugged while saying that we were close friends. Now for the first time, I felt nervous about seeing him.

I could feel Mollie’s curious eyes on me and I flashed her a quick smile as I asked, “Are you two crazy lovebirds hungry? We were just about to go eat."

“Yes!” Mollie said, then gave a sheepish look over her shoulder at Callen, who grinned at her suggestively. I didn’t even want to think about why she was so hungry. I loved them both, but they had sex way more than it should be humanly possible.

As we were leaving, Callen wrapped an arm around my shoulder and said, "Don't get mad, but Brock is with us. He has some business to do in New York this week and asked if he could get a ticket to your show. I told him that I would ask you, but if you don't want to see him, then he said that he would understand."

I took a deep breath as I mulled it over. I decided that if I was going to move on from him, then I needed to face him. Callen raised is eyebrows and said, "He can catch an early flight home."

"Nah, its okay," I smiled as I shrugged. "I can't hide from him forever, so it's fine. I’ll add him to the list of VIP’s."

"Okay," Callen said, giving me a wary look. "But I'm serious, you give me the word and he's gone."

I gave him a grateful smile and he wrapped me up in a brotherly hug. This was why I loved Callen. He had my back and vice
