[ Then ]
Mickey was bullied by her older brother to sleep in his apartment… with his male roommates. But, Mickey hadn’t eaten for a while. That, plus the fact that he lived on the top floor of and apartment building and that said apartment did not have an elevator—she passed out on the stairs.
Waking up, Mal were there. And, surprise, surprise, Jake was there too (the crazy kid from the laundry mat). This lead to the question… did Mal send Jake to interact with her? To check in on her?
But at midnight, after working all day, it wasn’t the right time to contemplate exactly what was either planned or not. She barely even took notice of the Calculus genius, Charlie. She fell asleep, ignoring food offered by her brother out of spite.
Mickey slept instantly once her head hit Mal’s pillow.
Bright and early in the morning, she is roused by chocolate eyes… which belonged to Jake. His jokester personality inferred that the two of them had an eventful night *wink, wink*. She couldn’t remember this “eventful night” and in shock at his accusations, fell off the bed. The sound brought in the worried Chase. Blond and powder blue eyes, Chase was shirtless. And, apparently, Jake didn’t know that Mickey was Mal’s little sister (He was very dejected by this accusation). But really, would he let that stop him from teasing the girl relentlessly?
As Chase, the knight, ushered Jake out of the room, Mickey went about her business of getting ready. This led to the discovery of a check—one that with the chaos that she had encountered-- had forgotten about its existence completely. And it was a marvelous discovery that, despite the Jake and Mal incidents, brought a smile on her face. She yelled in joy, bringing in the boys that lived at the apartment. Mal, Chase, Charlie, Jake and surprisingly, Larz. It was something to take in with all five guys just standing there. But who really cares? Mickey found a check. It was better then Christmas.
Blah, blah, blah. Mal acted rude, inferring that her check was small-fry. Then, everyone slowly left her.
When Mickey left Mal’s room and took in the apartment, it was in morning chaos. Jake, Mal and Chase was eating and making breakfast. Charlie went to the bathroom to take a shower. Larz and Chase were getting ready to go to work. And Mal told Mickey to sit and eat something… Which led to another fight. During the tense air, of course Jake broke in like an idiot and left. And Charlie came out of the bathroom in a towel, not having realized that Mickey was still there. Embarrassing! Both Mickey and Charlie colored red.
When Charlie left to his bedroom, neat and meticulous, Mickey was hit like you wouldn’t believe with the urge to go to the bathroom. Which led the contemplation of… do I really want to? The house was a pig-sty of old food boxes and beer cans and clothes. What could possibly be in the bathroom if the living room-slash-kitchen looked like… this?
So, she came face to face with…

Mickey's Mad House
[ o9 ] Jabber of Joy, Ahoy!
What I was expecting inside of the bathroom was nothing like what I actually came face to… face with.
I was prepared to see dirty floors, hair strewn about carelessly and unwashed porcelain. I was prepared to see dirty clothes forgotten, rumpled and maybe slightly smelly towels. But no, that was nothing like what I was actually staring at. When I turned around, I came face to… cheek with a huge booty. They had a poster of a half naked girl on their bathroom wall. Someone that I didn’t know—most likely from Victoria’s Secret—was there, across from the toilet posing her assets off. Across from the toilet… who does that? And there was only one reason that I could think of as to why that poster would be inside of a bathroom. Gingerly, watching the booty warily like it would eat me when I turned around, I walked over to the toilet; unable to deny the pressure I was feeling. I did my business hovering and when I was finished, I washed my hands quickly before stepping out. All the while, I watch the poster with caution.
