Harassed. Rejected. Replaced. (ON HOLD)

So... people have asked for Aaron's POV, so HERE IT IS!! :D

Aaron's POV:

I ran back into pack house after meeting with Tiffany. I laughed to myself. It had gone well. Very well.

She was left in tears, I'd told her the absolute truth.

I couldn't believe Fate would pair us up as mates.

Olivia was so much better. She was popular, skinny, and beautiful. A much better Luna than an ugly, attention-seeking nerd.

True, my wolf muttered. He was as digusted as I am. I'm sure you're wondering- how could a wolf reject his soul mate? Well, he was a smart wolf. He was free, and he wouldn't let Fate decide his destiny, he would. He knew that our so-called 'mate' was the most vile thing on the planet. We deserved so much better. And he hated her as much as I did.

She's dirt. She is nothing to me.

Other than a punching bag/slave, of course.

[A/N: Sorry it's short, but now you know how Aaron really feels...he's twisted sick. AND HIS WOLF IS A TOTAL BASTARD!! I mean, what kind of werewolf rejects his mate for a whore?!?! Maybe his wolf had birth defects, mentally. Hmmm...]

Tiffany's POV:

I stood there for a while, just reflecting. My wolf wasn't feeling anything- she had come to accept his rejection and is feeling normal.

I hope Fate will give us a second chance, my wolf murmured.

Why do you mean? I asked, confused. My wolf seemed surprised.

You didn't know? If your first mate dies or rejects you, you MIGHT get another mate. You MIGHT. And if you do, the bond will be stronger than with the first mate to help ease the pain, she explained.

I thought over this.

I know you want a mate. I do too, but I don't want to be hurt anymore, I whispered.

I understand, she sighed, it's just, it's just my natural instinct. I can't help it.

I know, I answered, and it's okay. If we have another mate out there, and he isn't anywhere close to being like Aaron, then we'll hopefully be together.

Happy at last, my wolf concluded.

I walked to the pack house alone. The wind whipped my hair in all directions, stinging my cheeks in nipping my arms that were crossed against my chest. I pushed opened the door and was met a nice, warm blast of air, as well as laughter. Not wanting to be seen, I crept up the stairs as quietly as possible. I opened the door to my room and closed it softy. I glanced at the clock. It was already 5:30 pm. I'd better get dinner started... nah.

"Where were you?" a voice asked. I spun around and saw David lying on my bed.

"Were you waiting on me the entire time?" I asked, shocked. He shrugged, not really answering my question.

"So...?" he prompted.

"I just stayed after school," I answered, not lying. He looked suspicious, but didn't persist.

"Any news on the rogues?" I changed the topic.

"Aaron's having everyone train harder for the fight, it's only in two days! I don't think I'm ready," he said, thrusting his head into his hands. I went over to him and placed a hand on his back.

"Hey, you're going to be fine. You're a great fighter, and a lot better than me," I said, attempting to comfort him. He looks up at me and smiles tightly.

"And you can handle pain better than me, and you're fast," he replied, but continued, "but you can't fight,"

"What?!" I exclaimed, jumping up from the bed angrily, "was this Aaron's doing, or-" David cut me off.

"No, it's not that. I'm telling you that you can't fight," he said. I stared at him in shock.

"But- but- why?" I stuttered, "I'm not weak! I can defend my pack!"

"It's not that you're weak, because you're not. In fact, you're one of the strongest people I know. But that's not the reason," he said, meeting my eyes.

"Really? And what is that?" I snapped, putting a hand on my hip.

"I don't want you to get hurt because of a pack that mistreats you," he answered, silently begging me to understand. I was speechless, I couldn't speak at all.

"I- I-" I stammered. He hushed me.

"Just please, do it for me?" he pleaded. I hesitated.

"Then what am I supposed to do? Sit here and watch you put yourself at risk of death? You're the reason I'm alive, I don't know what I'll do without you!" I protested. David looked anxious, then sighed.
