Two and half months later…
Lillian jumped up and down as she tried to button her pants. Her size five jeans weren't fitting; sure, they were an old blue pair, but they were her favorite. They just had to fit!
Finally getting the button threw the holes, she gave a sigh of relief. She threw on a black long sleeve shirt and pulled her hair up in a braid. She threw on her glasses and went down stairs to eat breakfast.
She filled her plate with three large pancakes her mom made, six pieces of bacon, some eggs, and toast.
“Whoa, hungry, dear?” her mom asked as she chuckled.
Lillian shrugged, “Yeah, but all of this smells so good.” she said, going into the dining room and started eating. She was so hungry for some reason and her mom didn’t make breakfast a lot, so she was happy. She hated school food.
After finishing three-fourths of her breakfast, she chugged down on some orange juice since it was time to go to school. She grabbed her winter aviator jacket that was a male-sized that belonged to her older brother, Brad, who was in his second year of law school, but he gave it to her since they were close and she missed him.
She jogged out of her house and over to the car. Her mom took her and her sister to school since the middle and high school were right next to each other and their mom needed to pass the school to get to her job.
Lillian stomach started to feel weird though, but it was probably because she ate too fast. Yeah, that’s what it was. Lillian’s mom dropped her sister off first then her. Lillian’s stomach started to hurt then and Lillian’s mom looked at her in concern, “Alright there, Lil?” she asked.
“Yeah, I just ate too fast. It’ll pass later on.” she said, waving it off. She grabbed her backpack and swung it over one shoulder and got out. “See ya later, love ya.” she said.
“Love you too.” her mom said and drove away when Lillian turned and walked towards the school.
Lillian made a face, pulling at her jeans that felt tight around her. She was just bloating; it had been happening the last couple of days with feeling a little crampy. She was probably getting her period soon.
She felt so tired and her stomach wouldn’t stop hurting. Half way to the sophomore hallway, she met up with Jeanette and Ryan. Lillian awkwardly looked from Ryan though, still not able to look at him.
It had been two months and when they were around each other, they avoided looking at each other. They use to say things here and there to each other, but now it’s complete silence. And when Jeanette asked questioned, they just moaned.
Lillian rubbed her stomach and groaned, “Dang, I ate a little too fast.” she said to herself.
“You okay, Lil?” Jeanette asked. “You look kind of pale.”
“Yeah, just had a big breakfast this morning and ate too fast.” she said.
“You have been eating a lot lately.” Jeanette said. “And thankfully it’s going to all the right spots. You’re getting curvier.”
Lillian groaned, “I wish they wouldn’t. My boobs are starting to feel sore, too,” she said.
Ryan groaned, “I don’t need to hear this.” he said. “I hear enough of Jeanette’s girl problems.”
Lillian kept quiet, but Jeanette spoke, “Hey, if you’re with me, you’ll have to deal with girl talk. This is me and Lil talking before class.”, she said, leaning up on her tip toes and kissed him. “Anyways, continue.”
Lillian shook her head, “No, we’ll talk later about,” she paused, feeling her stomach turn, “Sorry, we can finish,” she paused again, feeling as if a pressure was rising up her throat. She swallowed the feeling, “Finish it—oh god!” she said, running towards the bathroom and ran into one the stalls, falling down on her knees and threw up chunks of her breakfast.
As she threw up, the door opened and she heard Jeanette’s voice, “Out, you two out!” she said to the two freshmen girls that were in the bathroom. “Lil, are you okay?” she asked and Lillian felt her rubbing her back as she threw up.
When she didn’t throw up again, she fell down on her side and leaned again the stall wall, tired. She wiped across her mouth as she panted, “That was so embarrassing and disgusting.”
