Thranduil's P.O.V (Two hours later)

Queen Aranel had saved my life. She had actually saved my life. I had to stop getting lost in her beautiful eyes. She was getting married to an emperor. The other night, I had overheard her conversation with her father. I felt for her and I was furious with her father. I hate arranged marriages, my first marriage was arranged and I hated it. I was still upset when Lady Raiaborn died. Even though I didn't love her, she was still the mother of my son, Legolas.

To be honest, I was feeling something towards Queen Aranel but the emperor was a handsome man and he respected her.
'Excuse me, Thranduil,' A voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned around to face King Akalog.
'Yes, Akalog?' I asked politely.
'We will leave tonight. Thank you for your hospitality.'
'I was wondering what happened to Aranel's mother?' I enquired. King Akalog's face darkened.
'She died in childbirth,' Akalog told me but I could tell that he was lying.
'Was she an elf?'
'Yes, she was,' Akalog faked a smile.
'Where was she from?'
'Actually funny you might ask, she lived here. We fell in love and we got married in Rhûn,' Akalog replied,' but I must go and get my servants to pack.'
He began to leave, when I need to ask him one thing more.
'What was her name?'
'Narandriel,' he said and left. I sat there shocked. Narandriel was the name of the wife of my captain of the guard, Haldir. I wondered if it could be the same Narandriel. Haldir and his wife had been travelling on a mission near Rhûn and stayed at the city of Rhûn. He said that she had been slain by a man. I needed to ask him. I walked down to his post and he bowed when he saw me.
'Haldir,' I greeted.
'Your majesty, what can I do for you?'
'I need to ask you a question but I may be wrong,' I began.
'Proceed, sire.'
'Did your late wife have a daughter in Rhûn?'
'How do you know that?' Haldir's voice shock.
'The child was taken by the King of Rhûn and if I am not mistaken she is here, in Mirkwood.'
Haldir's eyes widened and his jaw fell.
'She's alive.'
'Yes, her name is Aranel,' I told him.
'Is the king here?' Haldir asked.
'Yes...why?'
'I'm going to kill him!'
