Ok, so we all know the internet it big, but did you know it's so big that it's practically impossible to measure! With so much information available at the touch of a button, it is easy to see how 70% of people feel that the amount of available data is overwhelming...
GOOGLE estimates the internet at about 5 miollion terebytes of data.
Google, the largest index of the internet in the world, has indexted 200 terabytes or .004% of the Total.
The human brain could hold an estimated 1 to 10 terabytes.
Using an estimate of 5 terabytes per brain, it would take a million human brains to store the internet!!!

North America: 76.2%
Austrailia and Oceania: 60.8%
Europe: 50.3%
Latin America and Caribbean: 31.9%
Middle East: 28.8%
Asia: 20.1%
Africa: 8.7%
America makes up 76.2% of the worlds internet population but only 5% of the actual Worlds population.
247 Billion emails are sent every day
81% are Spam (200 Billion spam emails per day)

It is difficult to say if the leisure time on the internet surpasses television because a growing majority of people use both at the same time.

70% of mobile internet users take place in their home.
87% of users access mobile internet more than once a day
