Hi there my lovies! Dedication goes to Panda_LOVER123 because she gave me the idea of what to name this chappie and made me grin with her comment!
Song is: I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz (YAY!)
Sorry it's so short, but I'm uploading frequently, hopefully, so hope you enjoy!
(Further to come)
One Direction + Belgium = …
That was a hint! BTW
"This is the fourteenth time I've called him! Why isn't he answering?!" I shouted, ruffling my hair. Connor sat on my couch looking guilty and uncomfortable due to Ares slight growls.
"Well, I do remember him telling me he couldn't find it when we left the train …" Connor admitted. I turned on him, gripping my phone.
"And you couldn't have told me that fourteen phone calls ago?!" I exclaimed. "He can barely navigate around London let alone Belgium! He doesn't even speak any Dutch of French!" Connor bit his lip, still ringing his hat in his hands. I took a deep breath. Don't strangle him, Sofia. Find Alec then kill Connor.
"Tell me, again, what happened." I said, clenching my teeth. Connor shifted his weight, glancing up at me nervously.
"Erm, well, we were down in Brugge and we had just gotten off the tour bus. Alec told me he wanted to go find the loo so I took the bags and took them to the hotel. Then I decided to go look for a restaurant for us to have dinner. Then, erm, it was getting late and that's when I couldn't get hold of him." Connor said.
"And this was after he told you he couldn't find his phone?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. He nodded, visibly gulping. "Well no wonder you couldn't get hold of him! He had no phone and you wandered off from where he saw you last! Did you at least tell him what hotel you were staying at?" I asked, trying not to explode.
"Yeah but he was in desperate need of the bathroom." Connor defended, still nervous.
"Let me get this straight: You let him rome free around Belgium to look for a bathroom when he had no knowledge of where you were staying or where you had gone or any money or any possible way to get home." I said, he nodded, avoiding my eyes. "Are you mental?! That boy has more street smarts than a glass of Cranberry juice! Did you even call the police?!" I seethed.
"Yes! But they spoke Dutch!" He said, trying to justify his actions.
"I thought you took Dutch in High School!" I shouted back.
"I, well, I-I … I had a 'D' in that class!"
"I bet you did!" He stayed silent, staring at the ground. My phone buzzed. I picked up.
"Hello?" I asked, my tone still angry.
"Sofia? Hi it's Zayn, erm are you okay?" he asked. Half of me was glad he called, needing a bit of stress releif but the other half still wanted Connor to get mauled by a bear.
"Not really, I erm have a slight dilemma. Do you … do you think you could come over here?" I asked. Well I was going out on a wim, wasn't I? I guess I just needed someone to calm me down and not let me become a murderer. I would have called Dec but he was long gone and Mona would have already had Connor decapitated. Plus, Zayn was handsome.
"Sure. I'll be there in ten minutes." he said before hanging up.
"Who was that? You're not going to have me killed then frame it like a suicide are you?" Connor asked, gripping his hat. Idiot. I didn't answer, just sat on the love seat glaring at Connor who looked undeniable scared. The doorbell rang and he squeaked a bit. I got up and opened the door to see a worried and confused Zayn.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked stepping in. I shut the door behind him. He looked over at Connor and narrowed his eyes a bit. "Who's that?" I wasn't sure if it was because Connor was too guilty that he lost Alec or too stupid for his own good, but he didn't recognize Zayn.
"I knew it! You are going to kill me!" Connor shouted, frightened. I glared daggers at him.
"Shut up, Connor!" I growled. Zayn looked a bit baffled. "That moron lost Alec in Belgium." I said, crossing my arms. Zayn thought for a bit, remembering who Alec was.
"Lost? Like, literally lost? Isn't Alec an adult?" Zayn asked.
"He's never been to Belgium and Bozo took his bag with his wallet and he has no phone and-and …" I let out a shaky breath. Even though Alec was older than me, he was still a boy at heart. Sure he was wicked smart in the class room but when it came to being out on the streets, he was clueless. It took him a while to know an area well. Zayn placed a calming hand on my shoulder.
